Whilst there they kindly did a free brake, tracking and vehicle check and went through the vehicle with a fine tooth comb. This revealed my tracking was way out, which in turn revealed yet another *local* garage had lied about work done on the vehicle. I had paid to have supertracking done elsewhere a while back (vehicle mostly unused since) but the mechanics showed me it had clearly never been touched. he then gave me a printout. Good willing mechanics so I will be happy to go back. Shame they dont do other mechanical works. It's getting hard to find any garage you can trust in this locale these days. But always check the work they claim cos its clear we're being ripped off by some. Oh and whilst there I also discovered the new *OCTANE* car magazine which was brilliant reading and they gave me a free copy :)

The only point i would make is that the tyres fitted are not brand matched, but as we did not specify this I cannot really complain :-). In summary then it is a well presented,great value for money and efficient company which I would gladly recommend to my friends and family, well worth the 60 mile round trip!. A poor garage. Took my car to have a puncture repaired - they removed a nail but didn't use a…read morerepair kit, never actually removed the tyre, and left 2 nails still in the tyre. On complaining, they asked me to return the tyre for them to look at, I couldn't as I was at work so my father returned it, and unfortunately left it with them. They proceeded to remove all the nails, carry out the repairs, then claim that all of that was done originally. However, I have another reputable garage as proof that this wasn't the case as it was them that found the bodged repair job - they replaced the tyre and gave me the original back. I still have the tyre, and it is clear by just looking at the repairs they've done that its never been driven on - further evidence that the repairs were not carried out originally. This was not only a con as they charged me for a job they didn't actually do, but it was also extremely dangerous as they knowingly sent me away with a dangerous tyre.

The site is easy to get to, big enough that there's room for more than one car to be worked on at any time (they can handle 4 or 5) and open to view, so you can watch what's going on with your motor. Pricing's about average but they have the usual "we-won't-be-beaten" price promise, which I have put into practise without a murmur from the staff. There's a good-sized, clean and bright waiting room, complete with a massive TV showing sports news, to keep you occupied if you choose to wait while your car is seen to, but I didn't see a drinks vending machine, which would have been a bonus. Got my car sorted with the minimum of fuss and, wonder of wonders, absolutely no BS from the mechanics. Unless your best mate or brother-in-law is in the trade, you can do a lot worse than visit these guys.
