After hearing good things about Window World from friends, we decided to buy our windows from them…read more The lady in the Cookeville office was very nice and helpful. We wanted to install the windows ourselves because we've found that most contractors don't show up on time or just do a sloppy job, but we were told that the warranty doesn't apply unless their people install the windows. After waiting 5 weeks for our windows to come in, a small crew showed up to install them. They were polite and fast. One of the window frames was damaged and so were a few screens. After they left, we cleaned the windows and discovered scratches in two different window sashes and another was missing the seal. Now, I didn't pay scratch n dent prices for these bad boys, they were nearly $3000. On top of that, one of the window frames was sagging so much that you couldn't remove the windows(which would void the warranty because they wouldn't be able to replace sashes). So we were told that they would fix the sagging frame and screens but we would have to wait on the damaged frame and sashes to be manufactured(7+ more weeks). I told the guy that I really didn't want to be held up on putting the siding back on the house and asked if they would take $500 off the windows and I'd keep the damaged ones. He said he could do that and then called back later and said they can't do that. Well I guess I have no choice. 8 weeks later the frame and 2 sashes came in and were installed, but no replacement for one of the sashes that was scratched. We wait another 11 weeks...the guys show up to fix the screen, install the sash, it's all good now, but considering the order was placed in August and wasn't completed until February, we are NOT thrilled. All of the people we dealt with were nice and the windows look great(although they don't seem to be made of very high quality materiPros: the installers were always on time and very nice, we were able to finance these at no interest for 2 years, they do look very nice now. Cons: not installed correctly the first time, poor quality control, poor communication between contractors and WW staff. I've never bought windows anywhere else, so I have nothing to compare my experience to, and maybe it would be frustrating no matter where we bought windows from, but it was all a big headache!

Their carelessness and negligence has taken my home, my family's health and time away from my baby due to health issues, and all possession we own that can't be cleaned. This company installed all new windows in our home ( all but 5 or so). Every window that willow windows installed is soaked and is covered in black mold. We contacted the company once we found the issues. They came to our home and "investigated" the windows. I'm not sure how one investigates an issue without actually looking at the issues. I'm pretty sure they just tapped on the window and said well it's a window it's all good. We have had to hire our own team to investigate the issues because they refuse to do so. We have had to move out of our home because it's inhabitable. We left all our possessions clothes, furniture, toys...everything because how contaminated our home is. I can't be near anything from the home because it makes me so sick that I am down for a few days. We have tried working with this company to resolve the issues but they are unwilling to fix the mistakes they made or even admit they exist. I am disappointed in this company for the neglect, lack of compassion, and the lack of accountability they possess. The owners in particular are the issue. I'm not sure how they can sleep at night knowing what damage they have done to another person. We have a baby..... A BABY.....in this now mold infested home due to their terrible window installation and they refuse to do anything. This company has no morals. As humans.... As parents.... As Christians(they call themselves) how can you live with your actions and not do the right thing. I'm writing this review not for the company but for anyone looking to use this company. Please save your family the trouble and keep looking. I'm just waiting on them to respond and act like they've tried to fix this or like they're willing to. They haven't. And they won't.
