Being new to the area, I tried to support local businesses. Hiring Handy Panda was NOT a good idea…read more It was supposed to have been a 3-day job. They were supposed to have arrived between 10A and Noon all 3 days during the job. They arrived after 2P on the first two days of the job. The first day their excuse was that their truck broke down. The second day their excuse was that they had to go to Home Depot to pick up needed supplies. On the third day, they arrived after 3P with no reason given. On the day of "completion," they worked after 10P, with their only source of light being flashlights. The following day, we had rain with some wind. Part of the roof blew off because the skylights were not bolted down and the roof panels were not installed evenly. The door was uneven and the shutters fell off. The interior shelves were not installed evenly. There are numerous other numerous issues with the quality of the work. We called and texted Handy Panda numerous times, and never received a reply. The customer service messenger on the website was broken. Finally I drove to Handy Panda's office with photos and a written list of the issues, and they promised to do a follow-up visit to inspect their work. They never showed up and have made no further attempts to contact me to resolve this issue. In my experience, do NOT hire Handy Panda. They are inconsiderate to their customers and do shoddy work.
