Service was very friendly and fast, we got our order within 15 minutes of sitting down, although it was closer to the end of the night and a little empty. The food was pretty good, the nachos had a bit of a burn on some chips but otherwise I enjoyed them a lot. The Lucas burger was a bit boring, but the bison meat was tasty, i will say it comes with onion rings on it that my husband took off and gave me. Those were super hot fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the air of the restaurant, with cool alligator decorations and very clearly split into the restaurant vs bar side, which is nice when you aren't wanting to be at a bar. read more

Stopped here for lunch with two families. The environment was friendly, service was rapid and the burgers average. Server was very friendly and very helpful. The decor with all the gators was pretty cool but the burger fell short a bit, requested a bison burger cooked at medium and the burger was charred and almost well done. Didn't complain or request to go back as we were on a time limit. However, if we're around next time I wouldn't mind stopping by and just trying out the bar as it's sport friendly and bar like style location. read more

The burgers are always perfect. Can't go wrong. If you get back, ask for it to be crispy though. Wasn't in the mood for a burger today and got tenders (if you like Raising Cane's, you'll like these too). Nice and crunchy, but not seasoned much at all. Good with sauce though. Order the beef burger with onion rings. Onion rings were dark brown, hard, cold, greasy and tasted like old oil. When I told the waitress, she shrugged and said "yeah, you can always tell when the oil gets old, they seem to do that and as the day gets along it can be worse". or words similar to this. Been craving a bison burger for a while & I found a place that sells them. I got the alligator fritters, which idk what I was expecting them to look like but that wasn't it lol the house sauce saved it. I've been familiar with B&D for a while being a life long Savannahian. I used to visit the location on Abercorn and always enjoyed it but this one in Pooler hit different. I know things have gone up but that was not a 17.00 hamburger I ate, I will say the patty was quality and it was fresh, but it was not very big and the onion rings were not hot and not very good. My kids and I ate here for and early dinner so we were able to beat the crowd. The food was good, 2 of us ordered our burgers "pink" or medium, but the burgers were well done, no pink at all. Just a heads up, if you order the veggies on your burger it wasn't excessive (the onion was literally 1 raw onion ring) Think to order extra. I went in with my daughter because burgers are her favorite. We were both very disappointed and won't be back. First, my burger was just "good". Not outstanding. But come on, for the price they charge it should be AMAZING! It's too small for the price they are charging and I can get a bigger better burger for less elsewhere. Plus the fries are terrible. They were not crispy. Very limp and soggy. I ate a few that I found that were small and crispy but mostly left the rest. My daughter was extremely disappointed. She ordered a kids burger. It was actually two slider burgers. She didn't enjoy them. Very dry. She only ate half of one. I ended up having to swing by McDonald's so she could get something she liked. She also ordered a milkshake she took two sips of. It's not even really a milkshake. It's basically chocolate ice. Too many ice chips. They charge for every little thing. Our meal was $40 for basically one burger because we didn't eat much of anything else. I could have taken her for steak for that price which is what I'll do next time. We paid the check and won't be back. The only reason I gave two instead of one is our waitress was very nice and the place looks clean and it's a nice atmosphere. But the food .... If you want a premium burger, and you are in the greater Savannah area then B&D is where you need to be. They aren't the cheapest in town but they are some of the most delicious! They have multiple locations. I ordered the Whitefield Square burger on this visit. Cheddar. Bacon. BBQ sauce and two onion rings in the burger. Come on now...if that doesn't make you salivate then either your vegetarian or our tastes are just broken . This is delicious! My daughter ordered the garlic Parmesan hot wing appetizer for her meal with a side of fries. They are good and garlicky with a liquid sauce (not a dry rub). My daughter couldn't stop saying how good the sauce was. She mopped the remainder on her plate up with her fries. They usually have a better beer selection but options limited during this strange COVID era. I ordered Dr Robot, a sour ale, which is great if you like sour beers (you either love them or hate them...no in between). They have permanent outdoor tented seating. It's great for COVID seating and for enjoying the outdoor elements when weather is nice...or when it's rainy like today. They have temporary curtain walls that roll down to keep you dry. read more

Food was good, prices exorbitant for burgers, $23+ for 7 oz bison burgers or $13 build your own beef burger but most toppings are an upcharge. Small $6 milkshakes weren't very chocolatey and had a powdery texture. Not our favorite. Onion rings and sliders were where it's at on this menu. We enjoyed the outdoor seating. Sarah's service was excellent, but there was a device where servers take your order, show you your total, and then collect payment AND TIP while they hold the device for you and watch. Not a fan! We like to have time to review the check and do not like the pressure of having the server watch while we select the tip amount. IMHO, the burgers weren't worth the price, but the service was awesome and may be worth the trip if you order some of the less expensive food items. read more

Well I really hate to say this was by far the worst food experience I've had since moving here in Jan. I wanted to try it because it's a few doors down from my nail shop. The burger was small and burnt tasting. The onion rings were paper thin and greasy. My milkshake tasted like powdered ice milk. I paid over $50 for 2 burgers, 2 onion rings, and powdered ice milk. I always take pics of my meal before eating, but this time I was so upset at this horrible meal I forgot to even take one. The waitress who took my order was nice though. I had a to-go order. Had I been seated inside I would have immediately asked for a refund at first bite!! Save yourself the frustration, as there are far better burger joints than this in the area. Gracing the place for National Burger Day, I wanted to pay homage to much favorite lunch treat. A local chain, Blake & Duncan Burgers has a "pubby" feel with outdoor space. Located right off the highway across the Pooler Parkway from the Tangier Outlet, it is easy to get to. We chose the high tops outside. Though the parking lot traffic was a bit distracting, the outdoor seating was comfortable, especially with the Georgia heat and my obsession with social distancing. I ordered "The Whitefield", their version of a barbecue bacon cheeseburger with two monstrous onion rings. Cooked medium well, it was quite juicy, with the bourbon sauce not on the burger. Instead it was soaked into the bun, making for a "neater" eating experience, while also resulting in the sauce not overpowering the burger flavor. Though a tad pricey, it is a great alternative to the standard specialty burger joints. read more

BINGO NIGHT!! apparently wednesday night is free bingo night. They pass put boards and markers to anyone interested. It's a Small little corner restaurant in a shopping center. Doesnt look like much in passing. I was in georgia for a work trip and staying at a nearby hotel. We had a long day and a big dinner planned for the next night so were looking for a quick local bite and we were referred here. I was with 8 others. They sat us at their biggest table, 6 at one table 3 at the table right night to us. I was trying to be on the healthier side and ordered the Ft. Jackson with grilled chicken. The buffalo sauce was AMAZING. when the menu says "creamy buffalo dip" they were lying. I cant even explain what it was but it was certainly creamy and the perfect amount of spicy. I opted for the fresh fruit as my side. It was fresh! We also ordered mozzarella sticks as an app but unfortunately they forgot about them so we reminded our waitress when our food arrived and she brought out an order fairly quickly. They were hot and crunchy, definately worth it. She waa extremely apologetic and the manager even came over and waved them from the bill, very nice gesture considering the mistake wasnt even a big deal! read more

Stopped in and got food to go after a long flight from Los Angeles. Was greeted right away by 2 girls and they reccomend the Ft. Jackson burger and cajun fries which was sooo good! I am always hesitant in a new place but these recommendations delivered! I also tried the alligator fritters which weren't bad but the sauce that came with it was awesome! We have walked and drove by this place dozens of times but never really noticed it. Then one night my daughter and I were wanting to get some dinner and sit outside. And this places has an amazing patio. It's covered so you can sit outside even if it's rainy. There is an outside bar that's wraps around and is connected to an inside bar. The service was great (Josh took great care of us). We both ordered veggie burgers with added avocado. I got the regular fries and my daughter ordered the curly fries. The burgers and fries were great. They were out of mayo, which is bad for a burger place but we didn't mind cause we don't eat our burgers with mayonnaise. I'm not sure if they were running short on pickles but they only gave use two very tiny ones. But in their defense, we didn't ask for additional ones but will next time. read more

The service was terrible too! waitress never came back to see if everything was ok! the dirty plates laid on our table till we ask her to remove them. then the jackass manager came over to tell us his latest rules of the restaurant!
