Now Daniel informed me he is the owner, looks 15 (that's a compliment, BTW) but very calm, well spoken, communicates clearly and willing to go the extra mile. Very much appreciated his professionalism. Now the work. I had gravel and pavers installed on both sides of my home. The price was fair, the crew were on time, Daniel was present the entire time overseeing to completion. A job that I thought would take an entire day was done to perfection within hours. About 4 months ago things started to change. He was no longer reliable, truthful, or dependable. I discovered that he was lying about cutting different properties and was always filled with hundreds of excuses. Meanwhile, he then tells me he got a big mowing job at the VA. Well, I am happy for him, but you don't just kick your good customers that pay within an hour of the property being completed to the curb. His communication skills are totally absent, and you constantly have to run after him. When he starts making excuses, you need to cut him loose. There are many lawn care people out there that are dying for the jobs and the work. Find one of them and give them your business. Dwayne doesn't care. This is the current condition of how he has just walked away with no communication and the condition he has left my property in. The backyard looks the same. Let me start off by saying that 3 yrs ago I had California closets build my closet space and the…read moredid and excellent job, which is why I went back to them. 5 star job. Also MISTY the sales representative is amazing. Although, fast forward 3 yrs later the service quality is horrendous. I hired them to install a Murphy bed, cabinet space, and closet doors. (Over $12,000) They messed up on every single thing. (Examples: big bold letters on top of paperwork. "Do not cut moldings", first thing they do is cut moldings, put together wrong and forgot steps. Had to have someone come out to fix). They also forgot steps in putting together the cabinetry. I understand people make mistakes. But pieces were left at shop and guys had to go back multiple times throughout the build process, and forgetting to fully finish the work accordingly is unacceptable. This company is supposed to be 5 star service. This was definitely not 5 start service that you pay for. Now down to the doors, I never had them done bc they quoted me a price, (with a rendering) and was signed and agreed on. California closets came to me after the quote (about a month down the road) and told me that THEIR vendor they normally used back out of the build. (Which is not the customers fault) and came to me and said that I would have to pay another 4K dollars bc they had to go find another vendor. I argued the fact bc that wasn't my issue that THEIR vendor backed out. They proceeded to tell me that is was a customers problem not California Closets. That is quoted from the director of sales for California closets. I would not recommend using this company now they are a joke and they don't provide the 5 star, white glove services that they proceed to offer.
