    If you have State farm, do not use this shop for accident repair of a new or newer vehicle. My repair has been a nightmare. My 2024 was returned with the wrong color wheels, visible damage to the wheels, lock nuts on the wheels taken from my glove box without asking or informing me ( stealing), and different color caps on the wheels. The only thing I will say is that Matt was always patient as well as desk staff but if you are not going to return a vehicle in even passible condition, which is still incorrect, it is a total fail. I cannot express how much time and distress this has caused. It took almost two months to return the vehicle only to have a botched repair on many levels. Last blow was after a week we started to hear noise and Acura advised that we needed a wheel alignment badly. How do you do return a car from front end collision repair, replace wheels and still need an alignment? Go to gerber, carstar or proceed to your dealer. I would not recommend for insurance claims. If this is a one off, it is a very bad one off experience.

    Nope, would not recommend. My car was hit two and a half months ago. I'm not sure if the insurance company had a limited number of body shops from which we could choose, if it had something to do with the preference of my significant other (perhaps finding a place that dealt directly with insurance rather than having to deal with reimbursement), or something else, but we decided to use this place. Originally when we called and asked about repairs, they said they wouldn't be able to get the car in until the end of October or sometime in November (my car was hit July 27). We contacted our insurance company again to find more shops from which to choose, in hopes of getting it in more quickly (I mean, three or more months is ridiculous). B&L called back shortly thereafter--within an hour or two--and suddenly they were able to do it in early October. Ok... not sure what changed here... except perhaps some prodding from the insurance company, since suddenly they could get us in 2-4 weeks sooner? They wanted to look at the car so I brought it in a few weeks ago. I honestly don't know what that purpose of that was; I waited 20+ minutes for a woman to come and look at the car, photos of which had been sent to the adjuster and ostensibly to the shop. That took about five minutes and then I left because the date and the reservation fee/down payment had already been reserved & paid a week before. But the real problem emerged when I brought it in for service. A week prior, I called to confirm that a rental car would be made available and to ensure they didn't need anything further to get that set up. The woman I spoke with assured me that I would have a rental to use and everything was all set. Imagine my surprise when, once I arrived at the location they work with after dropping my car off, the Enterprise had no record of it. The other two people with whom I arrived from the shop had no issue and were in and out with their cars in about five minutes. On the other hand, the Enterprise rep called B&L whilst I called my insurance company for information about the reimbursement. It took State Farm 10-15 minutes to get the appropriate information to Enterprise and since there were other customers I had to wait, of course. I was not pleased that I had to push back a meeting that I lead at work when I should have (and would have) had plenty of time to do all this before I needed to do that. I'm not sure where the ball dropped here. Either B&L didn't do what they needed to do to arrange this properly, or didn't tell me that I needed to do something else after I specifically called to confirm if anything else was required on my end to ensure a rental would be ready for me. Between the sudden change in when they could get me in and this debacle, I can't recommend them.

    I had a very positive and pleasant experience at B&L. While being in an accident can be frustrating, B&L walked me through the process of what they were going to repair and how long it as going to take to wait for parts and such. I've read plenty of reviews for other shops and people being in a long never ending waitlist and even when I reached out to other places myself they were very cold to me and not wanting to take me on. B&L wasn't like that, and was gracious and nice since the very beginning. The receptionist Diamond was very nice the entire time and our technician Roddis updated me throughout the entire repair process. I am happy with their work and our car looks like new. I highly recommend them

    At the body shop (B and L ) and the door has crip paint  on the passenger side were the accident occurred.

    I had the worst experience from the inception to the end and I was a repeat customer!!! To beginning with the staff was against working on my Porsche since the crappy insurance company (American Access) of the at fault owner. Yet they did and totally dropped the ball!!! I don't recommend them to NO one. The Owner even made a remark stating something so stupid to me , the customer. Then he tries to apologize and offers to return my money but never did. He passes the buck to his staff that then plays games. To add insult to injury, the side that was struck never was repaired correctly and has other problems now due them taking apart the bumper and side view mirror. Not to mention, they then tell me that there hands was tied when it came to dealing with the crappy insurance ( American Access). Yet, they took the job and didn't do the job efficiently (see photos). Be aware of all the fast talk!!!! I really should have listened to Diamond (staff) and left. She said the insurance won't pay so it's not in my interest to leave my Porsche. SMDH!!!!!!!!

    I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received from start to finish. Each time I came to the shop, I was greeted by a quick and efficient front office team. I say a team, because each of them helped each other, moved through customers quickly, and always conveyed the process clearly and accurately. The coordination of this insurance claim helped immensely and the shop works closely with the Enterprise branch down the street for a rental car while my vehicle was being worked on. In fact, the rental was dropped off by Enterprise and picked up from B&L which saved me two trips to the rental shop! I could not say more good things about Yana Shaw. From the moment of the first estimate, Yana was friendly, professional, candid, and helped me visualize the work needed and treated me like an old friend. I felt respected, heard, and empowered through the process and the timeline for repairs kept moving, even through a busy post-holiday period. If you want a top notch team with efficient and focused coordination to keep you moving, please use B&L Automotive. I will absolutely use them again in the future!

    Professional, convenient, clean, quick, and responsive. Had an unfortunate incident with a truck hitting my vehicle, requiring me to find a body shop. Saw that this place had over 600 positive reviews on google so we decided to check them out. Can I just say that I'm beyond blown away by the service received at this body shop?!? The entire experience felt very personalized with the mechanics keeping us in the loop every two days regarding progress of the repairs. They addressed each need and question I had and were some of the most respectful individuals I've ever met. No longer will I be going to Toyota for any further maintenance. Completely switching to B&L for all oil changes, repairs, everything!!

    My experience here for a simple brake job was smooth. I tried calling prior o visiting to no avail but due to the losing reviews I decided to show up in person & scheduled my appointment for first thing the following day. Although I was last minute the staff made me feel like I was a top priority & accommodated me in every way possible from giving me the WiFi password to making sure I was hydrated. There are plastic screen due to covid & everyone is usually masked. The estimates for your repairs are free. I was assured that they used original manufacture parts & was satisfied to the upmost with my brake job which I felt was a fair price. At the end the give you a free car wash which was actually a terrible job however it didn't deter my opinion. Shop was extremely clean also

    Rude. Unable to answer basic questions. A "quick drop off" with a "five minute wait for a rental…read morecar" turned into an hour of confusion, incompetence and personal attack. I was pushed to this location by the lincolnwood location. i took my car there for an assesment on a different day. when asked about why i was dropping the car off, i said "it should all be in the assesment from the previous location. they told me that they arent affiliated and that the process would happen again because they don't share information for some reason. they then said my car was going to another shop on division because this location was too busy for the next three weeks. they i was asked to sign documents for the work at the division shop that couldn't be done at rockwell. when i questioned how division would get the info from rockwell, when rockwell couldn't get the info from lincolnwood, they called me "difficult" and told me i could go elsewere if i didn't like it. i was speaking with the person at the front desk, and when she couldn't answer questions with anything other than "that's not my responsibility" i was verbally attacked by three beefy dudes from the desks behind that maybe need to tone down their testosterone treatments. they offered no help, but instead threats. they talked over me, shouted me down and told me I was the one that needed to calm down. I was verbally attacked by three men and a woman at the same time because none of them could answer my questions, then was tone policed by one til he was tired out finally done yelling at me. All this and they arent even going to fix my car at this location. I could've dropped the car at the original location (which was far more courteous and knowledgeable) if you need to take a car to crash champions, DO NOT take it to this location. Will update when damages are fixed. UPDATE: the entire experience at the rockwell location was so poorly handled by everyone involved, i decided to not let them service my vehicle. do not go here if you can avoid it. they are rude and attack as a group when they feel irritated.

I called to let them know I would arrive about 10 minutes before closing. Even though it was a Friday they were totally cool about it. This place is across town from me, but the trip was well worth the find. I called with my inquiries and spoke to Oliver. An appointment was made, and I sent links to D.I.Y. Videos to help streamline the installation process. Oliver was very straightforward. During the 3 days my car was being serviced, he kept me updated on the progress. This seems to be underrated with most businesses, but it's very important to a customer because nobody likes being left in the dark, especially when their car is left in the hands of someone else. Updates help build transparency and reduce the perception of being taken advantage of. Good communication encourages repeat business and referrals. It also leads to positive online reviews like this one. The installation work done on my car was superb. Everything looked like a factory install.
