They like to lie and pretend things are on the way to ensure you have to take unnecessary time off work. My advice for yelpers is not to attempt using their expensive, crappy delivery service. Visit the shop yourself and use a taxi or hire a van to get your things home. The delivery service takes weeks (at least over a month)...and does not even show up even after they promise "100%" that they will arrive. Wankers.

It is the rabbit warren of hell, it is the tesco express of ikea. The need to to get out was so distracting that none of the actually quite nice items are bought. Awful, use the Wembley branch if you can. It's only 15 mins away on the North Circular and you will leave with your sanity (even then be sure to go first or last thing)

It's a little twee shop in Crouch End, perfectly lovely and overpriced tat for the residents of the area. You know - candles, cushions, scarves, incense and, at the back, "antiques" or, as I prefer calling it, junk! No, I'm being harsh - there are some cool posters and when I was last in they had a brilliant old map of the world and an old-fashioned radio (not in working condition). I was really pleased as this helped me bring light into my new room and didn't break my bank as some lamps will do. Of course there is a huge selection of lamps so you can pay more if you like, but the basic value lamp is working great for me. I also got an £20 Studio Desk lamp in black, which is cute. The first time I went past Sven Sisters underground station I walk ed right past it. If fact I only found it walking in to a cafe only to find it had a door at the back into this hidden Latino world. There was music playing sunny tunes, with children dancing around, old people just chatting away in Spanish. The place seems more on eone gaint social club than a load of shops. Had a huge meal with fresh juice, followed by a Colombain strong coffee. Than just enjoyed the vibe. Often pop in when passing. Top tip go on saturday for a hair cut, a meal, stock up on books, dvds, music for learning the language. Or just pop into for a coffee or frozen juice on a stick. And if all this eating and drinking gets too much there is always the suit and corset maker to hide the sins.
