After our flight into Boston, we needed something to eat on our way to Maine. Being our first time in Boston, we only heard about the horrific traffic here. So we decided to look for somewhere to eat on our way to Revere. Of course, we Yelp it. B&M Bar and Grill sounded wonderful. OMG! This El Salvadoran breakfast and lunch restaurant was absolutely amazing! It's a small restaurant, nothing fancy but full of culture and colorful decor. There's a bar and some tables to your right. There was no one there so we had our choice of the place. Our server was super nice. Hubby ordered a tamarind drink and I ordered a horchata. These were made there, not from a glass bottle. Bingo! My son ordered their French toast. Hubby ordered a pupasas and a taco salad. I ordered their Desayuno Salvadoreño. I kid you not, everything was amazing! My eggs were scrambled with peppers and onions, and came with cheese and refried beans. It also can with fried plantains. Their tortillas were obviously made in house and rocked my world!! Hubby's taco salad came with a taco shell made in house as well. Delicious!! My son loved their French toast. I did too... you know I had to try that as well! We recently ate here while on a trip to visit family in the area. It's an El Salvadorean restaurant so there was a good latino flavor to the food. I got the irish eggs benedict and they were pretty good. It was a unique flavor for sure. I never got the toast that was to come with it but that was fine as I was full anyway. The staff was polite and friendly, though I'm sure if I spoke Spanish it would have been a bit easier. As for parking it's street parking so bring your change and some luck for finding a good spot. read more

I like this place. It's a very typical local's favorite restaurant (I was a tourist but I get the feeling they are popular in town). They greet their customers, some of their customers look like regulars there, and the owner knows their name and what they want to order. I went there for brunch. I ordered Irish egg Benedict and coffee. I would say, solely based on the food and price I paid, I'll give a 4. The portion is small, and it taste as I expected. However, I like their service and it's just a very cozy place to have breakfast/brunch and start a great weekend. I enjoyed my experience there overall, and that's why I give a 5 rather than 4. This is definitely a local spot for diner food-- a lot of the customers ordered "the usual" and were on a first-name basis with the employees. Our waitress was funny and kind, and I could tell that she enjoyed her job. The decor is very interesting, a lot of random signs, like you're in someone's house. The seating is outdated and isn't very comfortable (wooden booths). As for the food, it was mediocre. I ordered the French Toast and while it was presentable, it was pretty bland, dry, and a little stiff. I was pleased to find that the fruit was fresh and plentiful, though! We came in off a red eye exhausted and starving and came here for its convenient location to our AirBnb. Our server was kind and welcoming, the food, unfortunately was not. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with corned beef, eggs, and cheese on a bagel. The corned beef was not even close to what it should be. It was a grainy ground up version that tasted as bad as it looked. I even had the thought that maybe it was dehydrated corn beef that had been rehydrated, like the meat in backpackers meals. The breakfast potatoes looked and tasted like they had been fried, left out, and fried again. My son's chocolate milk tasted like the powdered version and my daughter's pancake had terrible texture, crumbled apart when cut, and lacked flavor. Pretty good greasy spoon in Revere. Friendly servers with fairly quick service. Crispy bacon, hearty portions. They have the run of the mill grill breakfast/brunch options and a few specials but nothing too unconventional. Atmosphere/interior is pretty hole in the wall. We are here on a frigid New Year's Day and the inside was pretty chilly -- most people had their coats and beanies on still--not very insulated or heated. The opening door often stuck when people came and left and let lots of cold air in. I'd bet the hot summer months are the same. Prices were a bit of bummer -- unlike a lot of greasy spoon grills this place wasn't inexpensive. Side of bacon, omelet and coffee for one, and big breakfast with a water for the other and still $25 with tax. Not outrageous but not cheap. I'd come back if the hankering arises but would be tempted to try other brunch/breakfast joints. read more

Seems like this is a frequent choice for travelers coming into Logan. That was us, too! My husband and 6-year-old and I came in late on a Saturday night and were looking for food before our long drive home. We were attracted to the breakfast menu because my husband is vegetarian and breakfast foods often him lots of options. When we arrived, the restaurant looked very different than we anticipated from what we saw on yelp-- it was dark inside and it kind of looked like it was in "bar" mode (it was a Saturday night, after all) with loud music playing. At first we were worried that we might be turned away since we didn't really match the atmosphere, but it was the opposite. A very friendly server greeted us and showed us to a table as far away as possible from the music, and we used our phones to light up the extensive menu. She informed us breakfast was no longer being served, which was disappointing, but she more than made up for it by being very helpful and accommodating, including her patience with our very poor Spanish. The food was delicious. I had the grilled salmon and my son ordered the fried fish (I'm sure he thought he'd be receiving something that looked like fish sticks, so I ended up switching with him since instead it was a whole bone-in fish, battered and fried-- not his cup of tea but it was fantastic for me, and he loved the salmon). My husband had the nachos. We also ordered fries, and although it took really long to bring us our food, I'm pretty sure that's because the fryer had already been turned off in the kitchen since it was so late. I was so appreciative that they started it up for us, and gave us a delicious meal even though we weren't exactly the typical clientele that night. Super quiet little diner. If you are looking for an out of the way place with quality food for a reasonable price, this might be your new go to spot. It was very slow the day I went in, which gave me some time to chat with the owner. I'll say you might be surprised at what comes out of the kitchen on any given day. Great service, great food. From the outside B.W.'s Grill looks a little bit like a hole in the wall. We initially were going to IHOP up the road but the wait was too long, I called up B.W.'s Grill and asked if there was a wait, there was none. I'm glad we chose this place. We love this place and come here almost every Sunday!. The great thing about this place is that while other mainstream breakfast places are overflowing with people on weekend mornings, this place usually has at least a seat for two available. The food is also very good. I'm a french toast junkie, do i usually get one of their smothered french toast specials. One of my favorites was french toast smothered in coconut and chocolate sauce. I am a sucker for lil' diners, and this spot was a fair brunch option while staying in the area for a night. My friend and I came in around 10:15am on a Friday morning in October, and there were plenty of tables open for us to choose from. Most of the back area were the booths were was pretty dim, but we decided to sit back there anyway. Right when we sat down, a super sweet waitress came by to bring us menus. After sitting for awhile, our eyes easily adjusted to the dimmer area of the restaurant. I ordered a cup of coffee, and our waitress brought us waters as well. I also ordered a Benedict to eat, and while it wasn't my favorite Benedict I've ever had, it wasn't awful! It was probably what you'd expect at a diner. I also really loved the coziness of the space. This was our first time coming to this place. It came highly recommended from my sister-in-law. Considering that my husband and I are complete foodies we love to eat everything and try everything on the menu. We are on a nice Paleo diet and appreciate all good food. And I must say that this is the first breakfast place that the meal was absolutely to die for. The meal that I chose to eat was a steak and cheese with caramelized peppers and onions and bacon omelette. My husband had roast beef with jalapenos omelette they both came with potatoes and toast. Even though we don't necessarily eat the starches we did have one or two bites and they were cooked to perfection and had just enough flavor. Both of our Omelettes were absolutely amazing. Perfect crunch and egg cooked perfectly. And of course we could not have left without trying their pancakes. So we ordered one pancake and split it between the two of us no powdered sugar no butter no syrup and the pancake was delicious. I would highly recommend this place can't wait to go back and try something new off the menu. And I love supporting local businesses it was nice to be greeted by the owner sat by the owner and spoken to by the owner who also cooked our meals. inside of this place is beautiful also. RUDEST waitress: we have been visiting this place for a while and we always had a very sweet waitress (blonde hair girl, apologize but didn't get her name). Last month we visited again and we were "greeted" by a different person (dark hair) her greeting was "you can't bring outside drinks here", I said ok, she brought a mug for me to pour the coffee. As I was reading the menu she said "I don't want any Dunkin Donuts coffee cups in my table". I was not happy with her approach but I let it go. Then we didn't have cash for the tip so we asked her if she could charge a small item so we could charge the tip to our card, she did it with no problems. Today we went back and we used a groupon, so our balance was like 1.50 so we thought we will leave her tip on the card. When she saw the card she, in an extreme rude tone and aggressively pointing at the card said, "I have a $10 min on cards" and stormed off. Let me be clear, I don't have a problem following instructions; if you don't accept outside drinks we didn't know about it , we get it now, we haven't done it again. You have a minimum on cards , we get it , just please be consistent . You did accept a charge for a small juice couple weeks ago. When I tried to complaint about this person attitude , I was told she is the daughter of the owner , well THAT'S the problem. Mrs. daughter of the owner: you need some real help with your people skills , and proof of this are previews reviews about your attitude (reference 1 star reviews from Ronald B. And Linda K.) If you don't like to deal with the customers and you are more on the management side and deal with numbers that's fine, then go get some nice waitress that enjoy interacting with people. Dealing with people is not easy , I do it all day for work but something I always keep in mind is that I have to treat people with RESPECT, the way I would like to be treated. I guess my mistake was to get a groupon because you get what you pay for right? lesson learned. B.W Grill owners: you may laugh at this review but long term if you don't fix the customer service side this could really hurt your business long term. Word of mouth is a very powerful marketing tool, so don't take it for granted. Very sad, because this is a cozy and nice diner with good food, however there are plenty of diners with the same atmosphere and same food. Yes I know is a choice and I choose not to come back to this place and I will make sure not to send all my clients from work to this place. Don't bother to reply (if you were even considering) . We came here for breakfast the other day, and the food was fabulous. It definitely has that rough, yet quaint, New England feel to it. The waitress was certainly edgy and people were staring at us the entire time, but what the hell, it was good stuff. I had the Italian Sausage with a side of bacon...all I can say is YUM.
