The centre is a lovely size, big enough for everything you need but not so big you get overwhelmed or lost. The car park is big with plenty of spaces. Me and my Mum had fancied a wee trip here as every time we pass the signs on the main road we say we must go there, so today we did. My mum has mobility problems, the place has easy access to all areas and great for getting around easily. The staff were friendly and helpful. We wandered round looking for plants and seeds. Once we had picked our things we paid for them and then headed to the tea room. They have, soup, sandwiches, quiches and home baking on offer. We opted for the quiches. I had the beetroot and brie one which was delicious. It came with a small salad which I enjoyed. We then shared a slice of chocolate and raspberry cake. Of all the garden centres in the local area this is definitely my favourite. I also like that is a family run business and not a big chain. The place feels very homely and the displays are amazing.

Inside there is also a ramp as well as stairs for individuals to make there way up to the upper level of the shop. The shop is split into several sections, there is children/babies clothing, mens clothing, ladies clothing, and household items. The shop is spacious, and easy to move around as the rails are not so close together, so you are not pushing your way around. There is a variety of types of clothing and styles, but sometimes I have to admit that they style does not always fit with the present fashion, and sometimes I find it hard to go in there and find some nice clothing. Granted there are some really lovely clothing but some of it is a little bit outdated. Prices are not really competitive, as they are around the same prices as m&s and next, but not necessary the same quality. Of course you can go in here and get some cheap clothing, but I do find for the larger lady it is a bit of a struggle especially as most of the clothing for larger ladies are not very stylish. Overall though the whole selection of the shop is positive, and around christmas time the selection of christmas stock is outstanding, and will take your breath away, some really unique items. Always worth a look!

Abriachan Garden Nursery is a very special kind of place. It's probably what the tourist brochures…read morewould call a hidden gem. The garden nursery has a wide range of local plants that will grow in this climate and all are very cheap compared with the big garden centres. The secret to this garden nursery is the garden walks (with an honesty box for admission charges). I would never have imagined that this place existed on the banks of the loch. It is a fabulous garden on the side of the hill with lots of surprises around every turn (I won't spoil it by telling all the details). It is very steep however and you have to be reasonably fit to walk around. The climb is however well worth it when you see the views. Don't miss it the next time you are driving past.
