The wait on the weekend is always long since it's the only bagel place around but worth the wait since line generally moves decently quickly. Last time though a bunch of people after me got their bagels first, I think they may still be working out some kinks! read more

Being a Brooklyn/NY native, I'm pretty selective about my bagels -- and this spot comes pretty close to those NYC faves. I love that this bagel place is so clean and their staff knows how to keep the line moving - and they really care about whether you like their food or not, so they are friendly and make great suggestions for other sandwiches. I had an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese - the cream cheese was VERY fresh and creamy and filling. I'm a little critical of the bagels though - the texture is nice and doughy but they don't have the airiness and they amount of 'everything' seasoning isn't overloaded like a NYC bagel. It's also not as huge as an NYC bagel, but there's still a fluffiness about their dough that hits the spot. My suggestion is for them to literally have that everything bagel doused in seasonings and it will be even tastier! I definitely want to come back here on a week day and get a sandwich to see how else they do for lunch. read more

Small place in Jersey city with a morning rush is a good sign. Freshly squeezed orange juice, different types of bagels and creamy delicious cream cheese . The jalapeño bagel was the best! In order from tastiest - jalapeño, onion, everything & Russian. For cream cheese, the veggie tofu was my personal fav. My spouse loved the lox , kids had the spring onion and veggie cream cheese. B Bagel has potential, but the execution is a mess. The service is painfully slow for what should be one of the quickest food stops imaginable. It's a bagel shop -- not fine dining -- yet somehow it felt like I was waiting on a custom, farm-to-table tasting menu. There's no visible system for prioritizing orders, and people who came in after me were served first without explanation. Completely disorganized. Customer service was equally disappointing. Instead of basic communication or an apology for the delay, I got short responses and attitude. The energy toward me felt noticeably different compared to other customers, which honestly left me feeling uncomfortable and singled out. If you're going to move slowly, at least be professional and welcoming. Right now, it's neither efficient nor friendly. I gave two stars because the product itself wasn't terrible -- but the experience? Not worth the frustration. read more

To know Jersey, is to know we don't play about our bagels and this new spot in the heart of Downtown Jersey City has won me over! First off, as soon as you walk in, greeted with great vibes and nice music. I always find myself singing to myself in line waiting to place my order, they play all the hits! Happy and friendly staff and the owners, the brothers are readily available helping out their hard working team. My go to order is their Big B - bacon sausage egg cheddar hash brown chipotle aioli on their JALEPENO EVERYTHING bagel. OH EM GEEE whoever thought of the spicy everythingness, deserves an award. You will not regret Line moves quickly so don't be overwhelmed. What makes this bagel shop stand out to me is their consistency, they have not missed yet and I'm happy they are here in JC! read more

So not going to even front, I've been avoiding this spot until I had a day off during the week due to the long lines on the weekends. Now I can totally see why the lines are so long lol. Yesterday I had a simple bagel with cream cheese. It was yummy. Today I went in - BECSPK on an egg bagel which never do. To my surprise, it was probably one of the best bagels I've had and I'm a NY/NJ guy! I will definitely be coming back, line or no line! Glows: -Bagels are made to perfection (no need to toast unless you're really in the mood) -Bacon cooked to perfection -Eggs were yummy and cheesy -Staff is kind (can't put a price on that) -Ambiance, normal bagel shop just prettier and smells good. Even toward the end of their business day it was a chaotic scene with many workers scurrying around, vendors talking to staff, friends arriving to kibbutz with staff, and a number of delivery drivers. The bagels are overall good. However, there have been a few times already when I ordered online and bit into the bagel, and it smelled/tasted like cigarettes. I don't know if the person preparing was smoking and didn't wash their hands properly or was simply smoking while baking/making my order, but the smell was awfully strong. Today I bought cinnamon raisin ones for my kids and I had to throw them out as they were not edible cause of that smell. It is definitely the last time I bought the bagels from here. read more

The food and service was top notch . We were visiting from Charlotte NC but what really touch me was their honesty. I had lost a sentimental gold and diamond bracelet . I was a little skeptical when I saw that a new bagel place had opened in Jersey City. I'm from Brooklyn, we take our bagels seriously. Well, they met expectations. The bagels here are really good. The staff here are super nice and very friendly. Both times I had the Big B sandwiches with hash browns, sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, and spicy mayo. These are fantastic, absolutely packed, and well worth the price. My mom had a plain bagel with cream cheese and I sneaked a bite. I think they whip the cream cheese, because it was very fluffy. I think maybe I'll try the nova salmon cream cheese bagel next time. read more

Visiting Jersey City for the weekend and had to experience the Jersey Bagels!! Our son took us there Saturday morning for breakfast bagels - it was crowded, but they moved quickly and the staff were all very friendly and happy - high energy everywhere!! Loved it! All of our sandwiches were delicious!! (I had the veggie, husband had the Jersey Stack, and son had the spicy senorita) Had to go back on Sunday to take some back to Indianapolis!!!
