Customer service is rude, snobby and dismissive. They are so stuck up that they don't acknowledge you when you walk in or ask if you need help. Indeed they totally ignore you. When I went to the cash register the woman didn't even look up from her iphone. Take your money elsewhere where you can be treated like a human being and not like garbage. read more

This store is great! When you look at a store like this your first question is "Why wouldn't I just buy this stuff on Amazon?" BUT then you walk in you realize that this place is special. THe main reason you go to B D Jefferies is that the store management has made excellent and varied merchandising decisions. Moreover, the store itself, while offering many different "looks" does so in such a nice and comfortable way that you find yourself saying, "I could see this in my home." I'm a person who knows what I like, and what I enjoyed about BD Jefferies is that I was simultaneously comfortable and prodded with new looks. We came in looking for nothing in particular and walked out with presents for friends, new table settings and ideas for a few things myself. The store is very comfortable, now hovering sales people making you feel uncomfortable. It's easy to walk around and enjoy browsing. Again, this place has some excellent merchandisers -- meaning they are making really good decisions across their products. If you are looking for ideas from home decorations to gifts, you seriously need to check out this really great and smart local boutique. I'm a fan, and I HATE shopping....usually. read more

Beautiful upscale home decor and gifts. I love to walk around this shop and daydream. They have a large variety of gorgeous items with prices to match. I found a soft bamboo throw that would look great in my living room. Unfortunately, I had to put it back- I didn't have $295 to spend on a couch throw. Have the afternoon off? I have to echo what Lauren S. and Rebecca O. said . . . I LOVE to shop here for unique gifts, especially for my dad and brother! They are one of the few "in town" boutique-y places that are great for gift-giving, no matter your budget. They really do have a great selection of gifts-for-him: golf books, beautiful leather goods - and not just wallets! - and that precious commodity - random knick knacks you know he won't buy for himself! I also go here to find gifts for my mom. I love to visit the shop for Christmas shopping, and like the fact that they have schmancy dog stuff (super cute beds and the like), beautiful "hostess"-type gifts like cheese plates with a knife, and even relatively inexpensive picks like fabulous smelling candles that burn for a looong time! read more

The staff is the epitome of "mean girls" from high school. It took forever to be waited on. I actually watched one of the staff behind the counter texting rather than seeing if she could help customers. As I was waiting, one of the staff was talking with two other people, and they all turned around and looked at me - they had clearly been talking about me. All I was doing was just standing at the counter. I will never darken their doors again. read more

Wow i have never experienced retail associates like this in my life. The women who work here are rude and snotty - acting like they are better than anyone who walks through the door. There were 6 people behind the counter and not one of them greeted me as i walked in the door. They just looked me up and down and went back to their convo. I said hello to another lady who was working in the back of the store and she didn't even respond. They have very cute things in this store but I'll be damned if i give them a penny. I come into this store alot and make purchases for either my mom or my aunts gifts for different occasions. I absolutely loved this store as far as all the rustic items they always have. As far as the customer service its mostly good. On one occasion I felt kind of uncomfortable because I felt that one of the employees were hitting on my husband. Low and behold I was right! Tiffany and my husband have been communicating inappropriately via text messages and have met up occasionally. I am disgusted and will not be returning. You've lost a valuable customer to this as I have spent thousands of dollars with this business. I will not be returning! read more

Beautiful stuff. Nasty, mean-spirited females behind the counter. One of them glared at me as I walked in, then looked away. None of them said hello. They talked down to other customers and even tried to accuse one of them for already returning something she was exchanging. Really pitiful human behavior. I love this store...the items are amazing. I do have to agree that the first time I came in the store there were several female employees but none greeted me. They greeted individuals they were familiar with. At first I was uncomfortable because I am African American. I end up purchasing several items that day which goes to show there should be no judgment. I've been back a few times and no problems. The ladies have been very nice and helpful. I look forward to visiting more...maybe someday was having a bad day my 1st visit. Its true CS goes along way...businesses lose money because of this. Great place to buy gifts for the hard-to-buy-for. They have expensive items (think Longchamp bags) but also some very reasonably priced unique jewelry, as well as a good selection of nice gift items for men. Plus, they have free gift wrap. Employees are helpful, although it's not a place to go if you are in a rush, as they are more likely to be chatting with customers as they check out than rushing them. read more

I guess if you go to this company's retail store, the people there will be responsive and helpful. With that being said, DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM ONLINE. Their processes and customer support are a 2 on a scale of 10 for Internet retailing. They are in the 19th century as it comes to web sales. Ordered a Christmas gift on December 10 never thinking it wouldn't be delivered by December 19 when I was having Christmas with my kids.. Called them on December 18 to check....was told it would be delivered that day or at the latest the 19th. It is now December 21.....still no product. This was not an inexpensive product either. My son, for whom the gift was intended, has now left to be with his wife's family and the joy of giving the gift has passed. The $600 silver monogramed belt buckle we ordered from a store in Memphis arrived early. This was intended to be included with the almost $300 alligator belt we ordered from this place. Our Atlanta friends said this was a top notch place. It is not. Do not order from this company. Go in their store if you live in Atlanta or wherever they have a physical location, but DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM ONLINE. They are simply undependable, uncaring and unresponsive read more
