We were really happy with our stay there…read more Located by the Port of St. Gousteau, Auray, it was an idyllic place to visit and had some wonderful history as well as a great location to investigate the surrounding areas. The quarters were close but the hotel was charming as were the proprietors; Eddy and Corinne. They were so kind and helpful. Part of our party, my sister and her husband, arrived earlier that evening and myself and my partner were visiting the wondrous Mont Saint-Michel and would be arriving later that night. Eddy provided my brother-in-law with our room key and said we could come down the next morning to take care of the paperwork. The morning breakfast of croissant, yogurt, fresh orange juice, coffee, and Corrine's and Eddy's freshly made jams were wonderful. So much detail was put into their wonderful hotel. I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful hotel in Arzon-Port du Crouesty. We dined in one of their restaurants, Le Safran, last…read morenight. It was one of the most enjoyable meals so far during our trip to France. Service was impeccable and the food from the amuse-bouche to the entree, main and dessert was fantastic. Each of us chose something different for each course and every single dish was amazing. Bravo!

This is an expensive spa hotel shaped like a ship jutting into the water. Every room has a balcony…read moreand ocean view. Rooms are clean, and the shower stall even includes a pull-out clothes line if you want to wash your own clothes. Breakfast was included with our stay, and there was a wide variety of food including yogurts, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, fresh pastries....and you can even see people going to breakfast in their bathrobes. Concierge was really nice, and each room included a complimentary bottle of water.

We spent two nights at this wonderful view hotel on the Tumulus hillside, which has everything we…read morewanted, including a view bar and a first-rate popular restaurant. When searching for a hotel, I couldn't believe we could actually stay on the Tumulus (burial site mountain built 4700 before present), but it is real, and I have photos to prove it. Our room was clean with a nice shower and standard furnishings. Room 14 has windows on two sides, so I highly recommend it for its views. We also paid for a complete breakfast buffet, which has a wide assortment of pastries, since it is a 5-minute walk into town. There is a teamaker in the room, as well. The bar has great views and nice service. There is also a pool, with views of the ocean far below. It is a great place to stay when visiting the Carnac stones and prehistoric museum.

The staff here went so far as to help us book further hotels and figure out how to successfully stay at an apartment-like hotel that would have no staff on duty upon our arrival. The location is super quiet, no light pollution, beautiful farm-like landscape. The city it is located in a super tiny but delightful with the nicest people. The spa looked nice but we were only staying for a short time and didn't get the opportunity to utilize it. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit France.
