L'hôtel est en plein centre ville, à 20 mètres du Vieux port, à 10 minutes à pied de la gare, entre l'Opéra et la canebière. Tout est vraiment accessible. 2. Le personnel est accueillant, serviable et disponible. Après une semaine, ils ont tous un mot sympa, une attention particulière. 3. Les chambres sont propres, la décoration relativement récente. 4. Le superflu qui fait du bien : Climatisation/Chauffage dans la chambre, et la TNT. 5. Le petit-déjeuner à volonté entre 7h et midi. 7h c'est parfait pour aller travailler. Midi c'est génial le weekend J'espère vous avoir convaincu du détour. En tous cas, moi je l'ai été.

In Hotel Peron we felt the essence of Marseilles with all its history and time-worn beauty. The room in which we stayed was clean, comfortable and well stocked with patterned parquet floors and a delightfully quirky bathroom, the staff was very helpful and kind (we were happy they spoke better English than our terrible French), and the view from our 2nd floor corner room was SPECTACULAR - directly out to the sea! Honestly, we've no complaint to make at all, only high recommendations to anyone visiting lovely Marseilles who wants to feel as if they're actually THERE. Room Tip: Ask for a corner room from the second floor up. If none are available, any facing the sea will look right out to the blue water."
