If you are already going to or on Peaks Island, then Babas is a must for breakfast &/or coffee. And I would seriously recommend taking the quick ferry ride out to Peaks just to go to Babas for a delicious breakfast with an amazing view. The breakfast worth going to Peaks for is an interesting and elevated take on an American breakfast staple: a sausage, egg, and cheese baked into a little brioche nest. See picture. Then go to Babas and try for yourself, because there is no way I can do it justice with my words. As an aside, the service and ambiance are also excellent (my husband commented that he could have stayed there all day). We will be back!

Wow! I did not expect to be so quaint and welcoming inside. The food and service were fabulous. The owner Emily is delightful and such a beautiful soul! Her story is amazing and I love that she named the place after her grandmother....The way she restored the building is just on point! We will definitely be back on our visit and if you come this way, you have to come here.

We went to Baba's because we saw a picture with an espresso machine on Yelp. We love visiting the Casco Bay Islands but, as a general rule, they aren't places you go if you want more than just drip coffee. Baba's surprised us, though, by serving us a decent latte. They also serve cookies baked on premises, and breakfast sandwiches. You can find a more "traditional/hearty" breakfast elsewhere on the island, but Baba's provides a unique experience for this location. The staff were also very friendly, and made us feel very welcomed. Would recommend visiting if you like both a relaxing island visit and a nice cup of espresso based coffee.

Which based on everything we had I completely understand why, this place makes incredible food and drinks. Overall it has a great inviting feeling to the space. To start off I enjoyed a Morning Bun Latte while my wife got the Honey & Juniper Latte. Both came out perfect temperature with well done latte art and delicious taste. My wife was obsessed with their pottery mugs that the lattes came served in. Food wise we were looking to split everything and it worked perfectly. We ended up choosing French Toast, Soft Scrambled Eggs, and the Fried Potatoes side. Every dish would be an absolute no brainer for us to order again. Every bite of food kept us wanting even more. Lastly we grabbed a chocolate croissant to go and that was just as tasty and enjoyed it after our visit. After this visit it is certainly a new favorite spot of ours, and look forward to coming back! Worth your time visiting!

That alone tells you so much about the heart of this place. A daily necessity. The only time I'm ever disappointed is when they sell out of their Banana Bread Latte. I still haven't been able to try it, but I already know it's going to be delicious. My go to order is a regular latte with oat milk and their house made Maine Maple syrup. Their hot drinks are always made at the perfect temperature so you can sip immediately without burning your tongue. And when I want something on the cooler side, I love that they have a nitro cold brew for that extra smooth finish. Despite how busy they always are, their service never wavers. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient. There's plenty of seating-- booths and high tops. Even with the plethora of people working on their laptop, I can almost always find a seat.

It did not disappoint at all and deserves all the hype/love it gets from the reviews. Tucked away in an area that is mostly industrial/business headquarters area. You will easily spot it though from the beautifully done artwork on the wall. It is a small building so hopefully you can time it well to avoid huge rush/crowds. They had roughly 7-8 tables with some 2-person and some 4-person tables if you are looking to enjoy your food here. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. They had so many tempting sounding breakfast sandwiches it was difficult to pick. I ended up going with their breakfast burrito and my wife got the Pine Point. Both were phenomenal and would be no brainers to order again, but with so many choices we would likely choose other new ones. My wife loved the bread used and the corned beef were perfectly made! The breakfast burrito was packed full with zero complaints. Drink wise we each got an iced latte, my wife got the mocha and I got the honeycomb latte. Both were very solid with a good amount of flavor to them. Lastly before leaving we each picked out a donut to have when we got home, a blueberry and a Maine maple. Definitely a spot we look forward to returning to in the future. Add this to your places to check out as a local or tourist!

French Toast and Little Bird were great. Definitely to be tried. For drip coffee, you can pick from one of the four and I went for a dark roast which tasted okay. There is limited seating space inside and we barely were able to find a space for ourselves. There are some parking spots outside but can fill up quickly as there is also a Driving Range behind the cafe. Overall, good food but try something else for beverages.

Not everything is made in house, at least I think that's my understanding, and it's different each day (breakfast sandwiches are not available on Monday/Tuesday). But everything I've ever had is 10/10, delicious!
