I wisteria the restaurant for lunch and were quite honest with the staff about my limited experience and they were very helpful with explaining all the dishes. Found this little basement bistro while walking down Engelbreksgatan in mid-afternoon. Babemba-Mali was the name above the door, and the colorful patterns on the tablecloths and walls told us this would be authentic African cuisine. It was indeed! Hearty portions of lamb and peanut stews were served up with rice, small salads and fried yam or potato slices. Bottled beers from Capetown paired well with the meal.
