The shop is full of clothes and accessories with vibrant colours ! Just for the sake of getting to know if they have found who killed the poor Bambi, I got into the shop several times XD One star for the design : On most of the clothes and back, you can find this label made of a circle with Bambi inside and a big WHO KILLED BAMBI ? One star for the style : I found earrings as zippers, pink glasses, a shop manager covered in tattooes... Weird but so much fun ! One star for the fitting rooms : The door slides and once inside, the walls are covered in graffities. Never seen before, no by me at least XD Anything else to add ? As I was walking in the street, I saw a poster for a concert. Some kind of gig called I SHOT BAMBI. The case of the century : Bambi was killed, but who did it ? WHO KILLED BAMBI ? XD

In Prenzlauer Berg, the Veganz is surrounded by the 2nd Avesu vegan shoe store in Berlin and the fair trade, organic, vegan clothing store Dear Goods. Dear Goods offers one of my favorite fair trade brands ARMEDANGELS, has many Matt & Nat handbags, wallets and coin purses, organic panties, scarves, handmade jewelry and clothing! It is a vegan's paradise. Many of the brands sold are also German companies. I found the boutique after a long afternoon of wandering and eating my way through my new favorite neighborhood Prenzlauer Berg. Sadly, I was too tuckered out to try on clothing. Frankly, my visit to the Avesu shoe store in Friedrichshain filled up my suitcase with shoes so I had no room for more shopping anyway. However, I found a gorgeous, organic, fair trade scarf for my dog sitter. She has cared for my little Violet and two cats so that my husband and I could have this amazing two week, life changing journey! It was the least I could do to thank her! This boutique has just confirmed my feelings that this is merely the first and not the last time I will visit Berlin. The city is open and welcoming and, as a vegan, I have never been exposed to so many places to eat, drink and shop in the world. This city feels like home to me and I've only been here for 4 days. Next visit I will be sure to pack light so I can shop heavily at Dear Goods!

- Classes offered in English - There is a holistic approach…read more It's not only about the movement & posses but also about the spiritual side and how to be a better human for yourself, other humans, and all life on earth. (I know that sounds like BS but it's true. The instructors guide you on a path to respecting all forms of life which gives extra meaning to the classes). - Instructors show compassion. They walk around & gently guide you into a better pose. (Yoga classes elsewhere will just say you're doing it wrong! Instead of saying, "touch your toes," Jivamukti instructors touch you and nudge your body as far as it can go). - Classes are super challenging. It makes you realize that yoga is not a walk in the park. It's a rigorous activity that you must work hard to perform. During the class, I am pushed to my mental & physical limits. After the classes, I feel relaxed and brand new. - The community and canteen create a second home for me and others.

I went there twice once to buy a coupon for a friend and the second time to purchase a yoga mat…read more Both times the staff was very rude, distracted and incompetent. One person didn't know how to work the computer to sell me the coupon so I had to come back the next day. Same with the yoga mat: they made me feel as if I were bothering them.
