I have been struggling to find a doctor that would help me with my severe & debilitating period & ovulation pain. After meeting Dr. Perez, I felt confident that this would be a good choice for me! Since it's a practice of three doctors (Lievano, Perez, and Collado), you meet with them all throughout your pregnancy, but can schedule appointments with just one for regular care like annual exams. I liked that they're super close to Baptist Hospital which ended up being a great hospital for my delivery. Speaking of, the thing about a practice is that you never know which doctor will be on call so it's best not to have your heart set on having a certain doctor there when you go into labor. On the weekends, they rotate with another practice entirely which I didn't learn until later, and it was a bit scary to know I may have a doctor I've never even met. Dr. Collado ended up being there when the time came and I'm SO happy and thankful! She was awesome the entire time, saved me from having an emergency C-Section, cooperated with my doula, and stayed at the hospital the entire night while we waited for my baby to arrive (and was there early the next morning!). I loved having her so much, I was set on keeping her as my main doctor moving forward. Unfortunately I moved, but would definitely encourage others to make an appointment with her if you're looking for a new gyno. Given how often I had to go there during my pregnancy, I'd say that wait times weren't bad on average, but there were a couple of times that were long, usually when a doctor was unexpectedly out. The nurses were always super kind though and great at taking blood. The ultrasound tech was also nice, and the back office was usually pretty good about helping me with billing issues, insurance, etc. Overall, I'm pleased with my experience. Pregnancy and birth can be super vulnerable and a bit nerve wracking, but I'd trust this team to do it again if I was in Miami.

My most recent appointment was for an IUD ultrasound follow-up that I booked MONTHS ago for 9:30 AM. The office called the day before and left a voicemail CONFIRMING the appointment. I arrive on time, get checked in, have my vitals taken, and get placed in the exam room only to then be told the doctor "won't be here until 2 PM." When I asked why nobody told me BEFORE I drove there and got roomed, they claimed they "tried to call." No. The voicemail literally only confirmed the appointment. Then they told me this doctor "doesn't work mornings." So why was I scheduled for a morning appointment requiring THAT doctor in the first place? And this isn't even my first horrible experience here. I originally got my IUD inserted at this office and it was unbelievably unprofessional. My appointment was at 5 PM and I did not leave until almost 7:30-8 PM. After already having me undressed and waiting, they suddenly realized they "needed" Pap smear results that the MALE doctor had supposedly already arranged to have faxed over from my primary doctor. Apparently nobody communicates with each other in this office. I ended up PAYING for AT&T hotspot/WiFi just to log into my own patient portal, find the results myself, and email them to the doctor while sitting there exposed and waiting. Then, during the actual insertion, random nurses and assistants kept walking into the room. At one point there were FOUR staff members in there, some "learning," others helping, and nobody asked me if I was comfortable with an audience during an intimate procedure. To make it worse, in the middle of my IUD insertion, the doctor started scolding a nurse saying the bed I WAS CURRENTLY LAYING ON hadn't been cleaned properly from the previous patient. Imagine hearing that while someone is literally inserting an IUD into you. I do want to say the nurses themselves were kind and polite to me personally. My issue is mainly with Dr. Magloire and the overall management of this office. The level of disorganization, poor communication, lack of professionalism, and disregard for patient comfort and privacy during intimate procedures was honestly shocking. Two visits. Kids have been dying from the flu this season and she didn't even bother swabbing their noses to check for flu despite the fact that they were showing symptoms. I spent so long fighting this NP because she insisted on giving my son immunizations when I told her this child is clearly sick. My daughter didn't receive immunizations that visit because she had a temperature and an ear infection. I told her I did not feel comfortable with him getting shots while he is still trying to overcome the sickness he already has. Apparently immunizations are the only thing this office cares about. The wait time was deplorable for the amount of time the doctor spent with my kids. So not worth it. Absolute shame.

The care quality here from the nurses is one of the best I've seen in a Baptist hospital. They come in to check in her to make sure she is doing good.
