I really did not want to buy any protective fencing because aesthetics is very important to me, and…read moremy lanai and pool area are visually pleasing and are a high visibility area from the house. However, I wanted to protect children and liked the other options much less, such as a high-volume alarm that sounds in the house whenever the sliders to the lanai were opened. I had many questions, and the owner was very patient in answering them thoroughly over several phone calls, including a face time call so he could see the pool and lanai area and address specific design questions. If I had been him, I would have been annoyed with me, but he was not annoyed, as he is very customer oriented. The fence mesh is see-through, so it does not stop the eye, and the design and coloration were entirely compatible with my existing pool cage. It is well made and has a pleasing design. The installer, Trent, was a real pro, and had a good design sense as well, and he was very helpful in addressing yet more questions from me. I thought the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the materials and installation, and when I needed some assistance after the installation and payment, Pool Guard was there for me. I delayed this review for several days as I wanted to ensure that aesthetically the fencing did not pose issues for me. Not only doesn't It pose any issues, but I now find it attractive and visually pleasing. I recommend Pool Guard of Tampa Bay without hesitation or reservation.

Super fast and great prices…read more I got a quote from another company and it seemed high to me. I then posted on the Westchase Mom's Club facebook page asking if the price seemed reasonable. A majority said no and then most of them recommended My Baby Fence. I called and he said he could come out that week and be done in an hour. I'm a terrible person with names, but this company is family owned and operated. The guy even has his 8 year old daughter record his voicemail! (Put those kids to work young.) I had to reschedule because of a work conflict and he was super flexible. It's $11 a foot and $280 for the gate (or at least when I had it done that was the pricing.) For our pool it was about $864. That was a good $400 less than the other company's pricing. When he got here I told him I had to leave at 2 p.m. to grab my kid from daycare. It was 1 p.m. and he said he could get the job done by then, and if not he'd have a majority done. I was a bit skeptical, but I figured it was easy enough for him to show himself out so I got out of his way. True to his word he was done at 1:58 p.m.! The gate looks fantastic. He gave us caps if we want to take the fence down and the gate has a key if we want to just completely lock it. There's an extra 2% charge if you pay with credit card so I just wrote a check. All in all this was a super painless transaction and I now feel safer. I would highly recommend this company.

I loved the home but seeing how easily she could access the pool kept me up at night with worry. I searched the local mommy groups on Fb and the majority recommended My Baby Fence. I called and was able to have a fence put up 2 hours after closing. Not only is it super sturdy with a self closing gate but I also have a key lock. Now, I don't have to worry about not only my daughter accessing our pool but any other child who may wander into our yard bc I keep the fence locked and the key put away while not in use. Fantastic customer service and I think the price for the fence was fair but, honestly, can we even put a price on peace of mind when it comes to our children? I would've paid double. Thank you for helping us protect our children and secure our pool. It's the best of both worlds.
