Friendly staff, intimate corner cafe, delicious food. Dined outside as we did pretty much…read moreeverywhere, as the weather was perfect. Our server Amrane showed us the best way to de-shell the escargot, as it was our 1st time, and we were pleasantly surprised how much we loved them. They were plump, juicy, buttery, herby and garlicky. The cod was moist and flaky, but the risotto was a bit mushy. The French onion soup was good, but didn't have caramelized onions, so it didn't have the depth of flavor that was expected. The duck confit with crispy potatoes was perfection on a plate! The meat was so tender, the potatoes were so crisp, and both were so flavorful. Oh and the marinated olives they brought out with the baguette basket were soooo good! Overall a great last dinner in the City of Lights.
Definitely recommend!
