I suffer from a progressive muscle disease that has over the course of 33 years put me in a position where I can no longer walk without a high chance of falling over and breaking something. I definitely couldn't get up on my own even if nothing was broken. Handicap stalls are useless to me unless I have someone to pick me up from the toilet.
