I'm not buying into all the negativity about this place. Both my sandwich and MilchKaffee were of good quality,, generously sized, and priced in line with comparable shops. We happened to walk by this place during our walk to Schloss Nymphenburg and decided to stop in for a spot of lunch. The place had a line up at lunch time and was packed with people waiting to get bread, sandwiches, cakes or coffee. I was expecting something fabulous considering the amount of people there, however, it was only ok and the prices were a bit rich for what was being served. I had the cheese, tomato and ham focaccia and it was served nice and warm and the taste was quite ok. I would not say it was fabulous but ok. The carrot cake I had with the coffee was pretty poor in my opinion and very dry. Actually all three of us had the same opinion about the carrot cake. The coffee was also ok nothing special. The ambience is nice and there are nice comfy chairs and loads of interesting quotes on the walls. Value for money here is pretty poor and that alone will keep me from coming back here. If the food was fabulous then I would happily pay but I do have an issue with paying good money for average food :-) read more

Very cute bakery with great deco and nice ambience. I really liked the motivational quotes on the wall. I came here late morning on a Wednesday. The service staff was friendly and I got my food right away. Paid 4.90 Euro for a cappuccino and bretzel. I agree with other reviews that this is slightly overpriced, especially the little rolls with cold cuts. They do however have a wide range of breads, cakes, sandwiches - something for everyone's taste. This is a place where you can come on your own to read, write or enjoy some "me" time. Or you can have breakfast with your friend and then go for a walk in the park at the nearby castle Nymphenburg. A nice little treat for special occasions. read more

Quick spot to get pastries right next to Schloss Nymphenburg. The stuff here is a little on the pricier side - almost 2€ for a croissant of about average quality. It's definitely intended for the tourists who are stopping by this spot who want an experience with a German bakery. If you want to get pastries here afterward, it's definitely an option, but there will probably be better places elsewhere in Munich that you will be able to get stuff from. read more
