    We have taken our Aussichon dog to this place twice before today. Both times we tried to explain…read morehow we wanted him groomed, but he ended up looking nothing like his breed -- more like a female spaniel with long, broom-like ears. This time I came prepared and brought a reference photo to clearly show the style we were hoping for. When I arrived to pick him up, I was asked to pay immediately and even left a tip before I saw him. When they brought him out, I was shocked -- he looked nothing like the reference picture I had provided. I calmly gave my feedback and explained that this was not the result we were hoping for. The groomer came out and said, "Sorry, I did the best I could. He moves around too much and I don't think he is a good dog for grooming." In other words, the problem was blamed on the dog rather than the result of the grooming. Our dog has been groomed before, including when he was younger, without any issues. She then told the front desk to "just give her a discount if she's not happy with the cut." I explained that I wasn't sharing my feedback to ask for a discount -- I simply wanted them to understand that the result was not what we had discussed. They offered a discount for a future service, but I told them we would likely not be coming back. At that point the groomer responded with "Good luck!" and shut the door as she walked away. I have honestly never experienced anything like that in my life. The person at the register apologized and mentioned that the groomer is "going through a lot right now," but that does not excuse such unprofessional behavior. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, both in terms of the grooming result and how the situation was handled.

I also don't like how strict they are with respect to picking our pet up. If you are more than an hour late after they called you, they'll charge you by the hour. I never experienced this before anywhere. We took our papillon and they didn't do a good job with her haircut. It kind of looks like we did it ourselves during the pandemic. I would not bring my dog here again.

My appointment was scheduled for Monday at 9:00 AM. However, on Thursday, I received an email stating that my appointment had been successfully rescheduled to a different time. The problem was that I never requested a reschedule. If Furry Land needed to change my appointment, I would have expected a phone call to discuss available options rather than receiving an automated notification that the appointment had already been moved. The new appointment time did not work for me, so I called to discuss the situation. Unfortunately, I reached an answering service. They said they would contact the franchise owner and have someone call me back. Later, I received a call from a woman who identified herself as the manager. When I explained my concern, she repeatedly told me that she had not rescheduled the appointment and that "the system" had done it. While that may have been true, it completely missed the point of my concern. My issue was not who or what changed the appointment--it was that the appointment was changed without my knowledge, approval, or input. Rather than acknowledging that frustration or offering a solution, the conversation kept returning to the fact that the system made the change. At that point, I realized we were not going to reach an understanding, so I asked that my appointment be canceled and decided to find another mobile groomer. I made one phone call and secured an appointment with another groomer for the very next day. The grooming service itself was good, which makes this experience disappointing. Customer service and communication matter just as much as the quality of the grooming, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of my expectations.
