Bad iPad repair experience at their Bountiful location. Don't pay upfront! I'm warning you! Total amateurs work here. Once they get your money, forget about a call back or update. You'll have to hound them like I did. I asked for a discount because they were soooooo slow, that was a "no" from the district manager and the scrawney smart-ass kid behind the counter said, "Hey, you got your iPad back, man!" I won't be taking any more repairs to this business, and my kids are rough on their iPads. They just lost a lot of future business. What idiots! read more

I had an issue with my LG G3. Kept getting the blue screen of death. The guy who helped me actually did a reboot and we thought it solved the problem. No charge. I was happy and left. But, then the problem persisted. When I went back we picked back up the conversation and talked a little more about the symptoms. He told me what he was planning to do, warmed me of the risks, and when I went back 2 hours later he had solved the problem. My phone works great! Good as new! Thanks Bad Apple! read more

Took Samsung tablet in to have a cracked screen replaced. New screen took 5 days to arrive. When they put in new screen, they cracked it. Had to order another screen, another 5 days. Once new screen was installed the touch screen did not work and SIM and SD cards were missing. Went back an luckily these were still in work order bag. Took it back and during screen install some connection was damage. Had to send to SLC to have connection soldered, another 2 weeks. Once repaired, picked up tablet and both SIM and SD cards were again missing. No where to be found this time. Offered to replace SD card but had to go to Verizon to get new SIM card. SD card had pictures and videos that can not be replace. Videos and pictures of special needs grandchild were lost. Have to wait another 5-7 days for a replacement SD card. No compensation for lost items. Remove SIM cards and SD cards when taking to any repair place. read more

While out, I dropped my iPad 3 and broke the glass. After calling around, a colleague recommended I go to Bad Apple in Bountiful. I mentioned that I needed the iPad as soon as possible as I depend on it a lot for my work and as a presentation tool. They were very understanding and promised they would try to fix it as soon as possible. I went around 11:30 AM and they were able to replace my glass and called me back about 5 hours later to come to pick it up. They did a great job and even hammered and made the dented corner not look so bad. The cost to repair was around $130 with tax and well worth it. They are probably not the cheapest, but well worth the little extra money to get your apple product fixed right. read more

Took my iPhone 6 in to fix a cracked screen. They fixed the screen but didn't put the phone back together properly. Both screws at the bottom were missing and some screws inside the screen that keep the screen anchored down were also missing. It took a friend of mine who knows a lot about Apple phones to point it all out to me. Now I'm left trying to figure out how to fix the missing screws. read more

Classic example of why you should only take your Apple devices to an authorized Apple service location, of which Bad Apple is not. I took my iPhone in for a new battery and an update. When I went to pick it up they let me know that they had damaged my screen and I would need to bring it back another day for repairs. The battery had been replaced but they forgot to do the update. Took my phone back for the new screen and again asked them to do the update. Got a call my phone was ready for pickup of which they had once again forgotten to do the update. I spent over an hour waiting for these 2 knuckleheads to do the update which resulted in a locked up phone. They asked if I wanted to wait while they tried to fix it. I had things to do so I told them to call me. Two hours later I get a call saying that basically my phone was unusable but at least there was a new battery and screen. Of course I was furious. Upon pickup of my now unusable phone they had the audacity to tell me they didn't want me to be upset and they fixed my screen free of charge in an attempt to make me happy, my screen that they admitted fault to damaging. They then just shrugged their shoulders and blamed Apple for my phone being unusable. Oh well... I promptly went to Apple and spent all evening with an amazing technician who did everything possible to save my phone and all the data, unfortunately the damage had already been done at Bad Apple. I explained to him what had happened and the damage to my screen. He said that the screen damage was clearly liquid getting into my phone and the other problems were a classic example of someone not knowing what they were doing. He explained to me the importance of taking your Apple devices to an authorized Apple service provider which is the Apple store, Best Buy, or to go to Apple.com for a listing of authorized repair places. Some repairs require your device to be recalibrated and the only locations that have the Apple recalibration equipment are authorized Apple service providers. Far too often people are losing valuable data or are incurring more repair expenses because they take their devices to repair shops not authorized by Apple. So if you choose to take your devices into Bad Apple, or any other repair shop that is not authorized, then good luck! read more

So I cracked my phone screen. after about a week than the home button quit working. I needed my phone fixed today because my schedules to my business are on my phone( which I didn't tell the gentleman at bad apple). so I brought my damaged phone to bad apple at 7:30, which is 30 minuted to closing, and the man there worked on my phone till 8:30 (30 minutes past closing) to make sure that all the parts that I needed were replaced. talk about awesomeness and dedication to his customers! read more

It appears that my review from last night has been deleted, so here I go again. I took my brand new I- pad 11 Pro in with a cracked screen in early June. They still have it, and it's September. I call these people every couple of weeks, and each time they say they have many backed- up orders, but will get to mine in the next week! They also tell me that more damage has happened to my I- pad because of something they did. No one will tell me what that was. The last time I called, I was told I would get a call back that day, but do you think I received it? Absolutely not. I stupidly invested over $400.00 when I dropped my I-pad off. The workers at Bad Apple owe me a full refund at this point, but they say they will not give it. I've never had such an awful experience with a business in my life. YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED! If you value your electronic possessions... do not take them to Bad Apple. read more

Last night my iPhone screen popped off. I called Bad Apple this morning to inquire about my options. Shortly after my phone call, I lost all use of my phone. This was a HUGE problem for me because I am a flight attendant, which requires me to be on call for work. I have a 20 minute window to return a phone call and after that administrative action is taken against me. I went to Bad Apple and explained my situation to Dave. He was very empathetic to my situation. He not only fixed my phone as quick as possible but he let me use his phone to contact my company to inform them of my predicament. To be completely honest, I resorted to using this location because they are close to my house but after this experience, I am a customer for life! Very happy with the experience! This locations knowledge, quality of work, and legendary customer service is the BEST! read more
