My boyfriend who is of color walks into the store the same time as a well known local. Not even 5 seconds later he comes back out and says "the woman working said she was closed and only taking care of a few stragglers" Normally I wouldn't have an issue with this However seeing that the local was being served and there was another woman in the store, I decided to get out of my car barefoot and go into the store, proceeded to grab my items and put them on the counter. The woman behind the counter never said anything about taking care of stragglers to me and completed my order with zero issues. The local clearly noticed this because while walking out of the door he made the comment "Wow, that was Weird how she would take care of you and not him" My response "Yep, that was pretty Racist" It truly hurts my heart that are Still people like this. #2022
