I've been following Colonial Gardens on social media for a while and they have some fun events . I…read morefinally made it to one, plant bingo. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was so fun, that I attended a second time in the same month. The event is held in their greenhouse, which makes the perfect backdrop for this event. You play three rounds of bingo with three cards each round, and each game has one plant prize, so one winner. There's a Plant Bar serving cocktails and popcorn, plus a coffee shop on site with small bites available during the event. Jessica, the events coordinator, is friendly and fun. After all games are played you have time to shop. I went during January and there wasn't an abundance of plants and flowers, but I'm looking forward to spring to check out the greenhouse when it is blooming.

Recently went here for an event, they are now a part of Powell Garden. Not sure if all will be the…read moresame or some changes, but I did notice not a lot of plants were sold here like before. The courtyard is always nice and you can eat, drink and enjoy whatever show they're having here. Met a young cow name red bud and he's so sweet. Can't wait to see what's new next time.
