I'll…read morewrite a full review separately for their wedding services, but the tl;dr is that the staff were amazing and really went above and beyond our expectations and my now-husband and I (and all our guests!) had a wonderful experience overall. Brunella and Carlo as leads worked very well with our wedding planner and the whole day went by very smoothly, even with pending rain and some last minute changes/requests. The stay at the hotel itself was so lovely as well. In summary - Pros: - Easy check-in process - able to park right up at the front (temporarily) and unload luggage - Friendly, helpful staff - most of them (all of the front desk and restaurant staff though) speak English - Great room (alcova) with lots of light and lots of space for the wedding party to get ready - Strong wifi in common areas, such as the reception area and lounge - Lots of options at breakfast - hot/cold drinks, continental food items, and hot food such as eggs and bacon - La Fucina restaurant, Donatello Bar, museums, and other areas are fun to explore and hang out in - 24h funicular (cable car) - Lovely spa amenities, easy to book Cons (ish): - The room wasn't fully cleaned until the last day - only the bed was made and the bathroom was cleaned, but the trash bag placed by the door wasn't removed - The room was right below Sansovino Restaurant and so there was lot of noise when tables/chairs were being moved, especially early in the morning - Wifi in the room wasn't usable unless standing next to the door or window - Gelateria was always closed I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The termal world offers a parent-child-area with warm water and different play facilities, a fun and adventure pool, an indoor and an outddor saltwater pool, an indoor salt treatment area, a restaurant, an outdoor area, where you can play beach volleyball and table tennis and a swimming pool, which is with a length of 25m unfortunately a bit to little. The sauna world includes an indoor sauna area with Aromarium, Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, infra-red cabin, steam bath, special resting area, 2 solariums and restaurant area with own bar and an outdoor sauna area with block-house sauna, cold pool and sunning lawn. Additionaly you can relax while enjoying one massage. All in all the Watzmanntherme offers a variety of possibilities to have fun and to relax. The only deficits are the small swimming pool and the fact that the whole thermae is often crowded on holidays and at the weekends, so that it isn't very relaxing to be there.

All the staff were friendly and always helpful, in particular, Ljubica on reception who is an asset to the hotel. Gave us great advise and always pleasant and cheerful. We weren't allocated a dining table for our week and had our evening meal in the winter garden. We didn't mind this, in fact we preferred it there and George was one of the most efficient waiters/bar staff we have come across. The only problem this caused was staff trying to find us a table for breakfast. There was one member of staff who tried her best to sort this problem out but can't remember her name but she was from Macedonia. The food we had was of great quality and enjoyed all the meals we had, all presented beautifully by the chef. The whole hotel is lovely throughout and we are looking forward to going back for Xmas. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
