Other people got the toasted bread with cream cheese and olives, the pasta salad, and the tomato soup. I would have to say I was unimpressed with the salad. For a healthy/vegan centered restaurant, the portion size wasn't particularly filling and had I not added the tomatoes and olives, it would have been basically just greens. Also, everything was sooooo salty and this is coming from a girl who normally eats salad with her salt if you know what I mean. The rest of the party was also unimpressed with the severely crunchy, almost impossible to bite into bread and cream cheese. I don't know, it just didn't really work. Three stars because it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't a place I'd take a carnivorous friend that I was trying to impress with delicious and nutritious vegan/vegetarian food. Service however was fast and friendly. I don't know why they decided to already add hoisin sauce to the pho? I didn't realize it was there until I started mixing everything. Also I don't know if it's to cater to the German tongue but the pho was on the sweeter side. The beef slices weren't thin enough, by the time it got to me, they were thoroughly cooked and hard to bite. The spring roll: it was awkwardly wrapped, which is fine because it the flavor that matters. There is a rather sizeable piece char siu and a whole shrimp so that was rather generous. The peanut sauce however was way too salty. I've no idea what the other dishes tastes like. My boyfriend ordered a Banh Mi and he seemed to have enjoyed his sandwich. I went in with high hopes and chose to stick to the classics, unfortunately it didn't really work out for me.

Very limited food options and cakes. I had a lovely vegan breakfast sandwich with tofu (there was a cheese option too) and the best soy latte I had on this trip. So all good on the food front for me anyway. Great wifi (which is a rare thing, at least in this part of Germany). Friendly service of few words. But really, crazy that they don't take credit cards only cash in 2016! Heard of iZettle?
