First off the ambiance is amazing here the restaurant was very clean as well and the staff was super professional, friendly and informative our server was able to break down the menu and what we would potentially like based off the menu and our potential interest. If I could give this restaurant a zero, I would. Go to eat before Keith Urban concert on 5/29/26. Waiter ended up spilling my Coca Cola drink all Over the table and onto the seat which the liquid then seeped into my skorts and undergarments and onto my bag. Only offered me paper napkins to clean up. I lost my appetite and asked for a manager. Told the manager I wasn't paying their astronomical prices when I get my drink spilled all over me. Left to clean myself up but still ended up sticky and uncomfortable. Now I had to sit through the concert sticky and disgusting. Manager would only take off half the bill when I told her I wasn't paying. Refused to do anything more for me and nothing like being sticky and wet for a concert. I will never go again nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. The full meal should have been comped..period! If the owner or corporate sees this, you should have refunded the entire amount of the bill. Oh and train your staff how to manage this type of situation. I'm NEVER in the area but recently, I was with a group of old friends & we decided to start our night at the Hard Rock, specifically because one of these friends wouldn't stop going on about these "life-changing" dumplings she had there. Naturally, curiosity (and hunger) got the best of us, so off we went for some apps and drinks to warm up for the night ahead. Our server, Danny L., was a total champ--he kept the food coming and the Soju flowing like a pro. The restaurant's vibe? Immaculate. The interior? much more chic than I expected for the Hard Rock! Extremely disappointing experience. The $350 set menu is priced almost the same as ordering the most expensive appetizer and rice separately, which feels like a terrible value. The menu also does not disclose the portion sizes of the meat in the set, making it misleading and impossible to judge what you're actually paying for. On top of that, the server did not explain any of this beforehand, and gave vague answers when asked afterward. The service felt dismissive and unprofessional. This restaurant was an experience within itself. The lights were dimmed inside which made it intimate and elegant. We checked in and were escorted to our seat within 5 minutes. Nicholas- our waiter played an integral role for our experience. He explained the menu, we started off with the Lychee Martinis- you just need one lol but we doubled back. The KFC- was frisky, hot and juicy. We chose the Bae feast grilling experience which included: a starter, Bak Choy, Kimchi, Fried Rice, Ribeye, Filet Mignon, Chicken and a Dessert. A waitress came around and explained how long we should cook the dessert cuts based off our preference. The meats are already seasoned and prepped for grilling. Our server was wonderful, very friendly, knowledgeable with recommendations and a pleasure to have! I also ordered the wagyu tacos, wagyu potstickers, Korean fried chicken and vegetable fried rice. The food was phenomenal. So delicious! You get to cook your meats at your table. Bae Korean Grill at the Hard Rock Guitar was an unforgettable experience, especially for my boyfriend's birthday. We started with the Wagyu Nigiri, and wow--it was sooooo good! Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. For the main event, we went all out with the Wagyu Feast, and let me tell you, this was hands down the best meat I've ever had in my life. It came with A5 Miyazaki Japanese Strip Loin, A5 Miyazaki Japanese Ribeye, Australian Wagyu Ribeye, and Australian Wagyu Skirt Steak. The A5 Japanese Ribeye? Unreal. It literally melts in your mouth in a way I didn't even know meat could. The feast also included a Bok Choy appetizer, another appetizer of our choice, kimchi vegetable rice (good, but nothing too special), and dessert. Dessert wasn't anything crazy, but it was the perfect, not-too-overwhelming way to end the meal. When they brought it out, the staff clapped and sang happy birthday to my boyfriend, making the night even more special. There's a built-in grill in the middle of the table, so you can cook the meat yourself or have the chefs do it in the back. We chose to cook it ourselves, which made the whole experience even better. We ordered the wagyu tacos as an app which came with 2 tiny flavorless tacos that was like a chip with ground beef lol, the sirloin steak which was okay but not hot and very fatty, then the kimchi fried rice which was hard and mushy and did not taste fresh, the flavors were soooo off, the bacon was super thick and fatty. Probably a good spot for a celebration of such, birthday, date, anniversary etc... Now for the food... I've been to many Korean restaurants and I would have to say this tasted like it was more Asian fusion than authentic. Moreover we could not choose the preset meals because we didn't have the table with the grill so we had to choose a la carte from the menu. My wife and I ordered the Galbi jim and the tofu soup. The meat was tender, but the flavor was lacking. The soup was not good. A bit on the saltier side. On the upside the bowls of white rice were free. At the end we got an ube flan that was pretty good. In conclusion would I come here again? Mmmm probably not. For the same price point I could have gotten more for my buck, but then again you're probably paying more for the atmosphere than the food. read more

Was excited to try this place for a while but left disappointed. We ordered the bae feast for two and selected the KFC as our app and the ube flan as our dessert. Starting with the pros: the staff was friendly, ambience was beautiful, and the dessert we ordered (ube flan) was absolutely delicious. The KFC was also tasty although the breading was falling off the chicken making it hard to eat. Now for the cons: for $200, the quality of the meat was just okay. The steak didn't have much flavor or crust, and tbh I felt like I was just eating a steak I cooked at home from the grocery store. The waiter offered to cook our meats to our desired medium rare but did not come by our table frequently enough so our meats were overcooked. The banchan also left much to be desired--I was looking forward to the cabbage kimchi and the kimchi radish but both felt old, dry, and had an unpleasant taste. Definitely did not feel fresh. Everything else was just okay. All in all, if you want an upscale Asian bbq experience, I definitely recommend checking out Cote in Wynwood for much better quality and taste of food compared to Bae, for a similar price point. read more

Every bite you wish you could have more! The seafood pancake was good but the portion was very small. It wasn't anything special.. The galbi came around 20-30 minutes after my appetizers which was quite a long time. The galbi is labeled as 'LA Galbi' however it was not marinated at all. This does not compare to LA Galbi and the flavor was different. LA Galbi is known for their sweet marinade while this one was just a plain short rib. The meat quality was good, but it was falsely advertised The tofu soup was delicious and came out very hot. It wasn't very spicy and I wish it had more of a kick, but the flavors were there. The best part of the meal was the Ube Flan. It was so creamy and melts in your mouth. You must order the Ube Flan!! Very strong taste of Ube and the whipped cream goes perfectly with it. One thing I will say is, this place isn't cheap, so save up, but definitely come visit because the food really is next-level. One of our FAVORITE dishes is the Toasted Scallop & Lobster Rolls, kind of a play on a Japanese crispy rice. The other MUST HAVE for us is the Wagyu Dumplings. The Kimchi Fried Rice is awesome also. Bae Korean Grill is located within the Hardrock in Hollywood. You can find it near the Oculus & at the end of the shopping area. We had a reservation here for 11:45 pm but their kitchen closed at 12am which we found odd that they allowed us to make a reservation that late. Nonetheless, we had a great time! Usually, if you're just getting seated this close to closing, servers are tired and you can feel like burden for them to serve you. Not during our experience! I am so sad I can't remember our server's name but she was a petite girl with the BEST personality. She had jokes for days (my favorite was saying Lady Gaga dined there with the punchline or having her meat Raw raw raaaaaw *sang in the Bad Romance melody*) and never made us feel like a burden for being seated so late. She gave great suggestions and everything we ordered was delicious. We opted out of the grilling since we didn't want to stay too long and wanted ready to eat food. We got a plethora of things off the menu: Wagyu Dumplings, Crispy Bok Choy, Mini Brioche Lobster Roll, Bibimbap, Stir-fried Korean Udon Noodles, Galbi Jim, and the ube flan dessert! I loved my bibimbap (you can never go wrong) and the ube flan dessert was *chef's kiss*. I definitely recommend this dessert if you love ube and maybe even try it if you don't. The staff was really nice and explained everything to us, but I just say the music was loud and made it hard to hear. This restaurant is definitely pricey but the food is top notch i must say. We started with the waygu dumplings. There was nothing amazing about it. The consistency was too mushy for my liking. For my main entree we got the steak and the kimchi rice. The rice was beyond heavenly. I enjoyed every single bite of it. My steak was cold so that was disappointing. I sent it back but it still came back warm which was very underwhelming.
