There is a nice, long driveway and a guard house to check in, to make sure you belong there. Very nice and elegant club house with probably 30' ceilings in the lounge area. Which, by the way, overlooks the 18th green. So if you're betting with the group behind you, you can stare them down as they try to make that last putt. I didn't give them 5-stars as the food we had was okay and not quite as fancy or tasteful as you would expect in a country club setting. The service was excellent and prompt and the other staff was willing to help or answer questions if you wonder around the clubhouse. The Xmas tasting is already legendary (good luck getting in if you don't respond to invite ASAP) and the other occasional beer, wine, and spirit tastings they do are pretty well attended and informative. Other than that it's a great place for events and the tastings are quality.

Even though it was foggy and rainy, the venue itself is beautiful. I can just imagine how much better it is with good weather. I bet the view is amazing since it is definitely high up. You have to drive up two huge hills to get there. One thing I'd recommend is to bring a pair of comfortable shoes because trying to walk in the mud and gravel in my heels was dangerous. The barn itself is all white, giving it a modern farmhouse vibe. It does need much decorations to make it pretty because it already is. The space is 5000 sq. ft. with a capacity of 200. It has a Bridal Suite with a private bathroom, a Grooms Room, Catering Prep Kitchen, Custom mobile bar and large outdoor patio and deck area (which we couldn't enjoy fully due to the weather). Although there were some outdoor heaters on the side deck, it was too chilly to stay out there for too long.

There is a large private parking lot and plenty of parking spaces just along the side of the event space as well. There are nice big restrooms and a nice size kitchen space as well. Autumn Sissons had been working with my aunt to take pictures of her granddaughters for several…read moreyears, so when my husband and I had our daughter we knew that we would turn to her to capture our daughter's milestones. It is approximately a 3 hour drive from our home to Autumn's in home studio in Bixby, OK. Autumn has driven to our home town on 2 occasions to do photo shoots of our little one to make things easier on our child, our schedules & to be able to capture some locations that are dear to our family. Her willingness to work with our needs coupled with her creative ideas & her eclectic artistic sensibilities makes the cost of her services and products worth it. During our last session with Autumn, my mother, daughter & I traveled to Tulsa & spent several hours on Friday evening discussing what I had in mind for our shoot that was scheduled to take place the next day. This was in addition to the multiple communications & inspiration photos that had been exchanged between Autumn & I leading up to our meeting. We arrived to her home studio on Saturday around noon and she worked with us well into the night. I know from my experience with her that our shoot was much longer than typical - we did 4 different sets and at least that many costume changes plus a nap and dinner. However - I also know that Autumn does whatever she can to ensure that her clients are pleased and have pictures that really capture special moments. I didn't know it until I started having Autumn photograph my child, but she does more than take pictures of kids - she does family pics, engagement pics, dog pics, senior pics, etc. Some tips: To get to her studio you turn down a small road leading to the Bemo Indian Church & once you past the church just keep going to house behind the church & that's her home studio. Book early because her calendar fills up quickly - especially around holidays & on weekends. Be open to her suggestions even if it's not what you had in mind. Some of the best pics I've ended up with have come from sets that she added when I've gone for other things. There's a reason she's an artist and I'm an attorney!
