CONSTRUCTION GOING ON SO GETTING TO S BAHN A PAIN…read more================================================= My husband and I took one of the regional trains from Munich to Stuttgart on Monday, April 20, 2026 and this train station was a bit chaotic. We planned to take the S Bahn to the Porscheplatz from there, but there were so many detours and people to wade through. We ended up just breaking down and taking an expensive taxi. On the way back we were able to take the S Bahn which saved us a lot of money. Give yourself plenty of time when dealing with this train station.

A lot of boring concrete but also plenty of signage that points the way to the proper exit to save you walking around in the cold or rain. My favorite station? It is well served by this massive underground station that is a stop for the U5, U6, U7, U12 and U15 lines. Pick any entrance and you'll be in the rabbit warren that makes up the underground areas of the station. It was helpful to see an exterior sign pointing out the next several trains so you could easily estimate how quickly you might want to walk to get to the platform.
