It's massive with intercity and international trains terminating here and transferring to underground, surface suburban and tram lines. Despite all of that traffic, we found it particularly easy to navigate with good signage and plenty of ticket vending machines as we transferred to the underground which did mean a short walk outside in the rain. The ticket office employees were much nicer and quite a bit more helpful. Every door in the station is open so it's quite a bit chilly and you have to pay 1€ to use the restroom. There are quite a few cafés to choose from if you need to wait.

The short walk to and from the station in town is worth it to not have to walk far once you are at the airport station.
