Finding out that he was arrested in North Carolina would have been a relief if we weren't 650 miles away. We got precious little advice or assistance from the detention center, except to be wary of internet bondsmen. And only slightly more from the public defender, who didn't return promised phone calls...by pressing him. We chose US Bonding because of their longevity of operation, 25 years. Mr. Plummer listened patiently to our frustrations and offered assurance that he could help us secure my brother's release. And he did. But he did more than that. We were concerned about my brother's transportation. Mr. Plummer stated that he would secure lodging for my brother if his vehicle couldn't be located or was inoperable. That turned out to be unnecessary but Mr. Plummer went beyond, I think, what a bondsman would ordinarily do.
