I needed someone to fix an installation on a dishwasher. I didn't find too many companies that said they performed this service and fewer with good reviews but when I saw the 5.0 average of Bailey Appliance i figured it was worth a shot. I contacted them thru their online form and when I was unable to speak by phone due to work they were able to arrange the appointment and service and price thru text. They arrived on time and corrected not only what I asked them to do but something else they discovered without any additional charge. They take credit cards or check. I didn't get a confirmation (maybe a problem on Yelp's side?) so I called to confirm and was told they had a tech in the city who could be here around 11. Had an appointment through our home depot warranty for them to come repair the ice machine on my brand new Samsung refrigerator. Appointment was between 3-5 and was a no show. The worst don't I repeat don't ever use this company. If you have home insurance and they recommend this company run run like the wind and ask for another company. I had two appointees and the owner didn't;t even have the decency to call or tex that he wasn't coming. Odain is awesome! I bought some new appliances and quickly realized how useless the PC Richards delivery and installers are. They are awful and have no idea what they're doing. I was a little hesitant about Bailey Appliance since it's a newer company. But I'm so glad I contacted Odain, who is very experienced. He disconnected my old washer dryer, fixed my valve and got my new gas washer and dryer installed quickly. His installs are cheaper than the big box store installs, and he actually knows what he is doing! I'll probably need a new over the range microwave soon, but I know who I'll call for the install. I needed a licensed plumber to run the gas line to my dryer. They ran the gas line and I inquired about running the water line and waste line. I called as the gas line that was run was blocking where the waste line needed to run. He refused to come and alter how he ran the gas line. It was always a struggle to get him on the phone. He said he was going to come at a certain time and then not show up and not call. I didnt know what was going on until I called and called and called. And then he would tell me a time and not show up until nearly an hour later. Very unprofessional. Find someone else to do your work read more

Odain, the owner of Bailey Appliance Installation & Repair was wonderful. Our dryer has been taking multiple cycles to dry clothes and was blowing lint everywhere. Odain was able to come out the same day we called. He was late due to traffic but was communicative. He quickly cleaned out the dryer vent & made sure the dryer was attached correctly. He was very respectful of the space and cleaned up after the service. He accepts credit cards and had me enter the information on the payment application so our privacy was more secure. We bought a washer dryer set recently with a dryer that requires a gas hook up. We did not know that in New York you need a licensed professional to set up a gas dryer. We checked yelp and located Bailey repair which listed themselves as licensed for dryer hook up. We received a reply within the hour and had set up a time to meet the very next day. Mr. Bailey maintained good communication, arrived on time, with mask and respectful of our home. He got right to work and completed the hook up within an hour or so. He was very kind and explained to me all of the ways that we need to maintain our dryer, not only for longevity but for safety since gas dryers can pose a fire risk if not maintained properly. I also asked Mr. Bailey about installing a vent in our bathroom and he assessed the situation and provided us with a price that we thought was extremely reasonable.
