I knew I'd enjoy the lattes, and this spot didn't disappoint! The decor is beautiful, modern, clean, and spacious. There's even an additional seating area in a separate room, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. You can also walk through a connecting door that leads to another business, which is a fun touch. I ordered a dirty chai, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. I really appreciate the consistency between both locations! Even though this Oneida spot is the original and main location, I personally prefer the Wartburg one for its cozier vibe and abundance of plants. My latte was extremely sweet, the sweetest I've ever had in my life, just tasted like syrup to me. I went back inside to ask how many pumps of vanilla they use, which to my suprise she said 5!!! That is incredibly unhealthy and I have never heard of any shop ever using that many pumps before, not to meantion I only got a medium not large. I can't even have that much sugar as I said before it's unhealthy and I'm still breastfeeding my baby so it was undrinkable. The staff here felt very passive aggressive and rude. When I asked her if it could be remade with only one pump, she told me I would have to get back in line and buy another coffee. I was already having a hard morning and in a rush to get back to the hospital to my grandma with her coffee as well. I was to stunned to even say anything back to her and I ended up leaving in tears and crying the whole way to the hospital. It just ruined my morning as something that I was hoping would lift me up and bring some joy to our situation as coffee usually does. As a business if a customer is unhappy with the drink especially considering their rediculous sugar amount, it should be replaced especially to have repeat customers and prevent bad experiences/reviews. The cost to make me a new latte would've been cents for them and prevented this chain reaction. Since there's not many options for cafes in Oneida, I did go back the next day and asked them to make me one with one pump of vanilla, it was actually very good and the staff was different and nice this day. I just feel I should've been refunded for the first coffee or compensated somehow. If you don't like sweet coffee make sure you're asking before hand what they put in each drink if you're gonna try it. The decor inside was very pretty too I will say.

We stopped for gas at Ron's…read moremidday on Sunday, and while I was paying inside, Ron very kindly informed me that the breakfast food that he sells are delicious. I told him that we might stop in the following morning and grab a bite to eat. We did. And it was fantastic. I can honestly say that I've never had a better biscuit. They had heard good things about SKD but hadn't visited or sampled their products. But today was the day. Let me touch on the tour - wow. The tour was expected to be about an hour but we stayed at least two, maybe a bit more. Our guide - Luther, is a hell of a nice fella. Taught us a lot. He told us how he's been friends with several of the other since school days and you can tell he really loves this place. This post would be too long to go over every great thing about the tour and sampling - so go and see for yourself. The products: Folks I'm not a big drinker. But I will say this. I came out buying, a bottle of their Vodka, two bottles of bourbon, and two bottles of flavored shine. I will also say I love each and every shine flavor and it was hard to choose just two. The location: new, very clean, and great looking. Inside and out. Lastly the staff: Again Luther was a great fella. The counter girls were crazy friendly and nice and then the owner Junior was just so nice and personable. Folks come here, bring your friends, and have a great time. We absolutely will be back when we return to the area. Hoping to catch a night when they have something going on like music outside.

The tour was very informative and entertaining. The taste testing was well worth it. We taste tested many different flavored Moonshines, (20 proof) but still very tasty. They tasted like liquid Jolly Ranchers. Then Vodka, Bourbon and last, but not least, a few Whiskeys. One was 111 proof. They have a very nice looking gift shop. All of their Whiskeys, Bourbon's, Moonshine's and Vodka are available for purchase plus everything else you can Imagine. Clothing, hats, flights, etc. you can buy some cool looking stuff. Quick summery?!? It was well worth the money. 90 minutes drinking and a tour combined? Time well spent in my book. I'd go back again in a heartbeat.
