It's not what you find in the big city, not at all, but you should not expect that. Drummond Island is a remote location, with only about 1,200 year-round residents and maybe 3,000 at the height of tourist season. This store does it's best to be all things to all people. What can you get at Wazz's? Gasoline. Alcohol. Carry-out chicken and sandwiches. Groceries. Hardware. Lottery. And probably a few more things that I didn't notice while I was walking around, stunned that they could pack such a wide variety of things into such a small space. Definitely worth a stop if you're on Drummond. Just beware - everything costs more on an island. A bottle of wine that costs $8.00 in a big city, or on the lower peninsula, costs $11.00 here. That's just the way things are when you're Up North.

I was standing in line and just looked down at the floor and saw that it was dirty. Then started looking around and actually seen not dirty but just absolutely filty. There was literally black yucky stuff just building up really thick around the front counter. I was going to ask them how much their pizza was for a slice and then after what I seen it totally changed my mind. That's the part of the store we get to see I could only imagine what it looked like in the kitchen. And that's what scared me and I said no way.
