I purchased a coachmen apex new last year. During the initial demo, I discovered a critical…read moreissue--one of the slide-outs was pinching a wire and blowing a fuse. As a result, delivery was delayed by several days. This year, after replacing the battery, the fridge stopped working. I waited nearly two months for a service appointment, and ended up dealing directly with the manufacturer to get the fridge replaced in order to avoid an even longer delay. The replacement fridge arrived scratched during installation. While at the dealership for the install, I pointed out that the rear brake lights were flickering and not functioning properly--complete with photo evidence. I was told they couldn't help because they were "unable to replicate the issue." They offered to order parts, but only if I paid out of pocket and waited. Frustrated, I decided to purchase and replace the brake lights myself due to the obvious safety risk. To my surprise, they actually had the parts on hand the whole time--clearly trying to dismiss the issue by claiming a delay in ordering. Overall, this has not been a great experience. Poor communication, avoidable delays, and dismissive service have made what should have been an exciting purchase into an ongoing source of frustration.

Cold Springs RV has been a great place to purchase an RV. We just picked up our camper yesterday,…read morethey were able to have it ready for memorial weekend! We have had nothing but a positive experience from responsiveness and friendliness of all staff - shout out to Jeff ! Everyone was also very helpful with the whole process and the many questions we had.

We went to our demo excited to pick up our camper and start making memories. The tech doing our demo, while nice, was not knowledgeable about our camper and on multiple occasions pointed us in the direction of Google and YouTube. We got the trailer home and it was time to unhitch it from our truck. The jack stopped working due to the battery not being fully connected- something we assumed they would have made sure was completed. There was also water found within the inline fuse making it soaking wet. That was not the end. While putting the slide out we blew a fuse and had to replace them. There was also cracks in the molding we were assured would be fixed but it wasn't. Once we were finally able to get inside, things continued to get worse. There were cobwebs all over the place, leftover food in the microwave and grill from previous owners, a dead spider in the bed among other issues. It took over two hours to clean what we expected and were told would be done prior to picking the camper up. We reached out to both the salesman and finance manager we worked with as surely this couldn't be the level of customer service they feel is appropriate. We were given their sincerest apologies and assured our feedback would be used to train staff. When our battery died during this time period they offered to replace it. Unfortunately that was not the end of our bad experience. While preparing for our first trip we had to stop at a dump station as there was waste in the black tank that hadn't been emptied. On that first camping trip the front half of the underbelly of camper peeled off. This was another concern that we noted when looking at the camper and were assured that it would be taken care of and was "fine". Instead of being able to enjoy our camper we purchased, all enthusiasm has been taken from us as we worry and stress about what's going to happen next and what else might not have been caught by us or by Cold Springs staff when they allegedly inspected the camper.  If you buy a used camper from Cold Springs PLEASE do your due diligence to make sure the camper is inspected fully and the work you were told would be done is completed.

Finally, since I have a Flagstaff camper, and it definitely needed a little work, I decided to make the trip to a Flagstaff dealer. That meant either going to Rhode Island or out to Fitchburg. Even though Rhode Island was a bit closer, I opted for Fitchburg because I did not want to go through Providence. Boy, what a wise choice. I never felt more comfortable entrusting my camper over to someone for repairs. Dave is the Service Manager. He understood my problems and clearly explained what he needed to do before I left. Within a week, he had received the two items that he needed to special order from Flagstaff, and the camper was ready. Dufour's is small. It appears to be run by a hands-on owner, not by a manager overseeing a large facility. They have a small store, stacked from floor to ceiling with just about any item you would need. It was well worth the trip.

Bryan and Jen are wonderful people. Yes! They ARE actually the ones I spoke with when I need repair…read morework. We are seasonals who enjoy the NH camping vibe from May until October. I also work from the camper when we are at the camp ground. We have had multiple instances where Bryan would stop by to check on things and quickly adjusted something or patched something that needed patching...and we were able to enjoy our time. I am not sure how much importance some people place on not having to know everything about campers. But I do not know everything. In fact, Bryan and Jen have been fixing our camper, as needed, for the past few years and our experience camping has been greatly IMPROVED because we KNOW they care about what others are going through when they are having "camper issues"... we have EXPERIENCED it for hand. We would not have stayed seasonal campers if it weren't for Bryan and Jen. They make an amazing team and I HIGHLY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend them to handle whatever job they say they can do! 25 years in the industry DOES account for something at least to me and my family! I trust that 25 years of experience means somthing to almost everyone. It is dependability, trustworthiness, reliability and most of all...EMPATHY for the "client" who finds themselves alone in the woods with a broken something or another and Bryan and Jen representing the "Cavalry" shows up and takes care of things. How much is THAT worth to someone? To me and my family...it means THE WORLD! I just wanted to add my two cents to the conversation! I HIGHLY recommend them!
