Staff were a bit vague and distracted but they did let us wait a few minutes for what we wanted to come out of the oven rather than just say it wasn't available. Free sauce on the plate and clean cutlery and plates. No complaints. My chili cransky was fresh and the pastry was nice and fluffy. Dulwich bakery are a chain and we often get their cakes for work. They are always really high quality and tasty.

Used to be quite overgrown and dirty. The bakery products are nice and a large range including lots of sweet pastries. There is also a sandwich bar area so the range is good. The coffee is ok and the staff good. The staff advised me when I asked, they have no training in coffee making so could be better. I would say it's the location that keeps it going - quiet end of The Parade but easy parking and convenient for quick stop. Beware Sunday's as it's very busy and hard to find parks due to a church next door.

Duffy's Bakery was always a favouite and it is still really good. The shop is a bit smaller than it used to be, but the contents are just as good with everything a growing boy needs.....unfortunately lately I have found that I am growing horizontally rather than vertically. I am a particular fan of their Sausage Rolls and Pizza Pies, but the Potato Pie satisfys many a taste bud also. They have a decent selection of deserts if you blood sugar level is of no concern, I was always a custard and apple tart man myself....Love the crumbly bits!

It's not a particularly big store, but it is chock full of delicious bakery items. It has all the usual suspects (sausage rolls, pasties and a huge range of pies) and also stocks every type of biscuit, cake and bun you could imagine. I love the apricot slice and my son's a fan of the snowballs (jelly cake, rolled in coconut and filled with cream) - special occasions only, of course. I also loved the display of edible meringue people. They've started making the Christmas ones already. It's a little pricier than some of the franchise bakeries, but I like to think I'm buying quality and supporting an independent when I shop here. The staff are friendly and seem to manage to serve people in order, even when there are a dozen or so people squeezed in. If you're not doing a mad lunch-on-the-run, there are a couple of casual tables and chairs strewn out the front where you can savour your baked goods.

Bakers should b worn out by 11.30am? Had the pistachio tart which she just brought out, pastry is short n not overly sweet, the mousse is good but the macaron was disappointing, too crunchy for my liking, thought it should have a bit of chew to it. A slice of candied apple under the mousse was welcoming, couple of more slices would have been better. Overall it is good

I've "only" had their pistachio creation, raspberry cheesecake and coffee chocolate mousse tarts, so I can't comment on their savory range, however there's plenty to choose from either side of the hot/cool cabinets. The mini tarts are just the right size, and around the $3-$4 range. For 6 people I spent $19. The variety is vast, and they seem the perfect solution for individual dessert selection after dinner - or as a mixed plate with friends for a tea or coffee. Give this new team in the area a go & you'll also be supporting young business initiative.

Baked goods vary from caramel tarts, lemon meringue pies, lemon tartlets, coconut macaroons, and include dedicated offerings only available from Elbio's, such as Chaja's (a ball of caramel, sponge and peaches, rolled in chunks of meringue) and Massini Chantilly (a luscious Chantilly cream served between layers of tender sponge cake, topped with a flame caramelized coating). Nearly all the offerings come in both a small bite size serving, ideal for cocktail parties, or and individual serve perfect for dinner parties or dessert.
