The guys that came out to perform the installation did a great job for the most part. There were a few pieces of glass that we had to sweep up and they did bump into the camera we had on the roof which required adjusting, but we are satisficed with the window. Got 3 large bathroom mirrors and several door/windows replaced. Bathroom mirrors started turning black at tops and sides almost right away, bathroom very ventilated large space. Had to leave dozens of messages over months until someone came out. Verified we were using correct cleaner and blamed on walls. He said he would come out to caulk and put thin framing around but again months and messages with no return calls. Upon more research it seems mirrors weren't properly sealed and not properly installed. Its a shame always try to support local business. read more

This company is extremely unorganized, and doesn't follow up. I called on a Friday to schedule an appointment on Monday, to fix a broken window on my RV. The appointment was scheduled per the man I spoke to. Monday around 0830 I called to confirm the appointment, and it was like I never talked to them. Eventually they made another appointment, and told me it would be after lunch. At 1000 the technician called and asked if he could come immediately. When I got home, they had cut the plastic covering the window, and left it open for the rain to enter. Never heard back from anyone. Poorly ran company, and everyone I talked to seemed to be bothered by having to interact with customers. read more

Had Baker Glass install a new glass shower. The first time I used the shower water came out from all sides and flooded our bathroom floor. The glass had NOT been correctly mounted with silicon to the floor. There were large gaps where the water came out. In addition the joints of the panes of glass that were supposed to be sealed together did not even meet so water spilled out between the glass panels. Totally incompetent work. We hired this company to install a shower door. When the installer came, my husband offered to show him photos of what was behind the tile and he insisted he didn't need them - he had been doing this job for 20 years. He ended up drilling into a pipe in the wall. We had to shut off water to our house for hours while we waited for a plumber to come to fix the pipe. Baker Glass refuses to pay for the plumber and the wall that had to be cut into to access the pipe. Only giving a one-star because zero was not available. read more

I will never use Baker Glass, completely rude and unprofessional. I did not use their service but On my way home one of their drivers rolled down their window on the highway and threw something out, hitting my windshield and cracking it. I politely tried to signal the driver with no luck then when I reached out to them by phone I got transferred multiple times and talked to the owner who was very rude and said if it's a big deal than to go through my insurance and figure it out myself. He also told me that he wasn't going to even attempt to be helpful. The way I was treated just shows how this company lacks character and respect to others property. read more

After using Baker glass for tabletop glass a few times, I went a few months ago to obtain replacement frosted, tempered glass for a kitchen shelf that broke in a home I was trying to sell. At first they told me they could obtain custom sized tempered glass, the cost, and that they would call me in 2 weeks. They never called, so I started calling them weekly after 3 weeks. At 7 or 8 weeks, they finally said they had the glass in -- but when I went to pick it up, it wasn't tempered - just slightly frosted. I rejected it at first, but In the end took it just so I could list the house. They charged me nearly the same price for untempered glass as they had quoted for tempered. read more

I needed a window replaced over the sinks in my master bath. Window had been damaged by a flying stone. Baker came out, measured and accepted the job. When they came to install they removed one pane of the tempered glass and then announced they could do no more until some stucco was removed by a stucco specialist. They left and the window was full of jagged glass with other pieces on the ground. When I objected they told me they were walking away from the job and that every other contractor would tell me the same thing. I called another company who came out, inspected the half done job and replaced my window with no problem and with no need for any stucco to be removed. I did not pay any higher price. I would not consider Baker for future work. read more

I called them to get a quote on 3 shower enclosures. Someone did come out to measure and that's the last I heard. I had to call them 2 more times over the next two weeks to try to get the estimate. First they said they couldn't find it, them they said they found it but the guy who did the measuring didn't do it right. Then I got a call back from Mack who gave me a dollar amount but it wasn't for the enclosures we asked for. I asked him to email it to me and gave him the email address and I have never heard from them again.
