We were in town for a softball tournament and this brunch spot was perfect for between games. It's pretty big inside with a lot of seating. Kind of loud but it was also very busy. We only had to wait about 10 mins for a party of 6 and they gave us menus to look at while we waited. The waitress was very nice in continuously checked in on us. She did a great job with my youngest keeping her engaged. The food was also really good. Sausage gravy over biscuits was super flavorful. Well seasoned and had soft biscuits that were easy to cut with a fork. The pancake was huge and my 10 yr old ate the whole thing. The fruit was fresh and ripe. Very sweet. The cinnamon roll was pretty good, but just a little harder to cut through with a fork. It may have needed to be a little warmer. Nonetheless it was still very good. The crab Benedict was just that. Nice lump crab. Perfectly cooked eggs and flavorful hollandaise sauce over top. The potatoes were amazing. My friend and I stopped by for lunch. Mostly everything was closed because of the Easter holiday. But Bakers crust was open. When we entered we were greeted right away by the friendly staff. There weren't many people inside so we got a table right away. The menu was pretty simple and right to the point. Lunch and dinner was all that was being served, so we decided on the maple smash burgers. The manager Mark was super nice and gave us complimentary tomato soup and house made parmesan chips. The soup was actually very tasty! I'd get it again. The chips weren't appealing to either of us, they were pretty soggy or maybe a little stale. I just ate them in the soup. My friend refused to eat them. Lol. She's a picky eater, me not so much!! Our waiter Noah was very informative, friendly, and upbeat! He was awesome during the whole visit, and kept our drinks refilled. We both enjoyed our burgers. The fries were soggy, very similar to the chips. So that was a no go. But the in house made ranch was tasty. My friend enjoyed her blackberry sage margarita. It was a pretty drink. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and good! Definitely a must try. They're opening a bagel place directly next door, so we were given a complimentary coupon for a free bagel once they open! That was great!! The restaurant is clean and has the trendy, popular, artisan kitchen vibe that welcomes you in. It's a great place to meet up with friends for lunch or gather a larger group for a celebration. This visit was a quick drop in so that I could purchase a gift card for family that loves this restaurant, too! I've been to other Bakers Crust in the area, and excited to try this one! When you first walk in it's nice modern cozy environment! Our host was very knowledgeable and spot on with my questions. I ordered the "shrimp asparagus Omlette " with the salsa on the side. It was a nice presentation with the 2 medium size shrimp on top. And only on top! Honestly if I am paying $21 for a shrimp omelet you've got to put a little more shrimp (look at my pic). The omelet tasted fine, but come on it needed a little more shrimp. The home fries where fine and the toast. The dish itself was not woth the amount you're paying! Plus they do not make crepes in this location! 10/10 always a hit at Baker's Crust Landstown Commons. Most recently I went for take out brunch. I ordered the flapcakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. Nothing fancy just basic breakfast. I paid and sat at the bar waiting for my food. The bartender offered me a water which I took because it was a scorching hot day. Got my food within 15 minutes, everything was correct and when I got home which is 10 mins away everything was still hot and fresh. No need to reheat it. I frequent this Baker's Crust location multiple times a month and I truly love coming here! Brunch or dinner you can't go wrong. The inside has a rustic feel with space to accommodate most party sizes. There are regular tables, half booths, high tops, bar seating, and a few tables out on their patio too. There is plenty of parking nearby. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. My absolute favorite time to come is on Bourbon & Burger Night (Wednesday 4pm-close)! Burgers/fries are $8 and their specialty bourbon cocktails are also $8. It is such a good deal for a quality burger that at one point my fiance and I came three Wednesdays in a row for this special. I have tried a few different types of their burgers including the Ahi Tuna Burger but my go to is always the Maple Bacon Smash Burger with an extra side of garlic aioli for dipping. I appreciate that they offer the Burger Night deal with carryout as well. If we visit during breakfast I typically get the Swanky Benedict and always have leftovers. On Thursdays they have Pizza & Pint Night but I am personally not a fan of thin crust wood fired pizza. They offer Happy Hour on weekdays from 3-6pm and a few weekend specials on drinks. I cannot recommend this specific location of Baker's Crust enough! It is definitely a go to spot for date night. read more

I had the tomato and cheese soup, it was delicious and super creamy. The fried calamari could have been crispier and it needed more seasoning. Very disappointing experience tonight at Bakers crust. We have been there probably dozens or maybe 50 times mostly for brunch or pizza, tonight was the first night we have been able to get out with our infant daughter. We walked in and were seated right away by a pair of very friendly hostesses, nobody ever came by to check on us take a drink, water or anything meanwhile, people in the tables all around us we're getting food, even though they had been seated after us. We waited about 15 or 20 minutes and just got up and left and sadly don't ever plan to return. Seems like it's really taking a turn for the worse not sure if it's new management the economy or what but we'll leave that up to you to decide what you think. read more

We dined here today 8/23/25 with our two kids. We have been Bakers Crust customers for years but always the Hilltop location. I don't know if it's just this location or things have backslid over the years, but upon walking in (gorgeous 78 degree day and they have all the doors/patio open) we were hit with a disgusting smell. As we stood there for a while when they were cleaning up a booth for us I'm sure the hostess heard me complaining about the smell. I can't describe it as anything other than if someone had passed really bad gas. But IT DID NOT GO AWAY. It was right inside the doors by the hostess stand. Once we went further into the restaurant to our booth the smell got a little better but it still smelled like musty and old. Almost like they had left the doors and windows open on a really humid day. It was so odd. The smell was still there when we left and past back by the hostess stand. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Burger which was good, but the fries that came with all looked like I got the bottom of the fry basket - even my kids wouldn't touch them. My husband had the Smash burger that he said was okay. The pizza we ordered off the kids menu for my two boys to split was a good deal with how big it actually is (grateful we only ordered one) but OMG it was SO greasy. We asked for an extra stack of napkins to blot it. (You can see in pics) - tasted like the pizza you would get at Sam's club or Target when they used to have it there. My kids ate it nonetheless. My wife and I stopped in for a relative late lunch and we love Baker's Crust if we are near one around lunch time that's our go to place and I just realized I have never checked in or gave a Yelp review. So here we go. I had the BC Combo with the Mortadella and Burrata sandwich and the signature tomato and cheese. I also added the parmesan potato chips. The ciabatta had light toast which is nice because so many places over toast bread but NOT here. The mortadella thinly sliced with pistachio in it. It was excellent. The one thing I forgot to ask for extra pesto. The soup what can I say it just reminds me of being home sitting with my wife on the couch all warm and fuzzy. In other words it's the best in town hands down. The addition of the cheese just gives it that slightest bit of texture. The presentation of the soup not the best but we werent fine dining. We were eating lunch. The staff was best as always. Just give Baker's Crust a try and you will see what I mean. read more

I have honestly contemplated making a review for some time, but after today's visit it felt wrong not to. I've personally been visiting BC for years, and my husband and his family for decades. We cannot help but notice that every time we seem to visit nowadays, there's always some disappointment about the visit. For example, today our drinks were not refilled until we were almost finished with our meals. It would've been nice to have at least one refill during the process of eating. Another time it was arriving for Thursday's 50% pizza deal and us having sat for awhile, finally ordered, just for them to let us know we ordered less than 10 minutes too early for the pizza deal. Server was aware we were there for the pizza deal prior to ordering, but refused to make accommodation. It just sat wrong with us. Just a PSA: There has been an added 3.5% transaction fee to every receipt, which I understand is common nowadays, but it's never enjoyable to see that as a consumer. We really have enjoyed past visits at Baker's Crust, and maybe it is this location specifically, but it's unfortunate that we've ended up leaving more often disappointed than satisfied lately. read more

I had such a great experience here yesterday for brunch. We had a group of 5 come in at opening at 11am. Our server was super nice and patient with us. I had mentioned to her that this was my first time at this BC location and she was nice enough to bring me a complimentary chips with tomato/cheese sauce. I really appreciated this. We brought in a cake since it was 2 of our birthdays. I ordered the Maryland omelet with home fries and sourdough toast. Everything was delicious! My toast was a bit burned but no worries. I asked for jelly and butter and that made it better! I love the ambiance of this restaurant and the service. I only wish it was closer. My friends loved their food as well. Great job BC! read more

I loved the panini and homemade chips! The only thing I'd recommend is asking for extra Mayo since the chicken was a tad dry (it was shredded chicken breast). The homemade potato chips were stellar, I couldn't get enough. The restaurant itself was clean and had a great ambiance. The only thing I didn't like was that it took quite a while to get my food, but the service itself was great. My glass stayed full and the waitress made sure I was good to go the entire time. Brunch with out of town guest selected Bakers Crust as the 2 other restaurants we went to first were closed for private parties. Lunar New Year was celebrated last weekend. Brunch service was a bit slow today, but no worries, we enjoyed good conversations. This location offers well spread out tables for our party of 5. The spicy bloody Mary was very well made by our waiter, who was patient and pleasant. The chicken shwarma is something I've never even seen on their menu. It offered great taste with each bite. The lavish wrap was really soft and authentic. House made chips didn't have as much parmesean as they usually do, but not to worry, u enjoyed my meal. On Saturday, 9/20th, I ordered my takeout at 3:30pm for pickup at 5pm. Tony, manager, said he coordinated my order with the incoming manager. When I arrived at 4:55pm no one knew about my order. At 5:20pm I finally received my order of the new pastrami sandwich featuring Carnegie Deli pastrami. At home, I was really disappointed. The pastrami came in thick, fatty chunks instead of the thin, tender slices it's supposed to be, and I ended up tossing most of it. I've had the Carnegie pastrami Ruben at their Bakers Bagel and it was perfect. The kids' fried chicken strips were just as bad-- tough and not edible, so the kids wouldn't touch them. Baker's Crust is usually on point, but they should be ashamed of the sorry azz burger they served on my pickup order last night. Did you all have a bad night last night??? 1. They ran out of turkey burgers and failed to put it on their website that they were out of stock (20 mins after I ordered). Had I known that, I would've ordered something completely different so I felt like my hands were tied and I had to order beef instead. I wish I hadn't because I don't like a lot of pink on my burger in which it did, in fact, have a lot of pink. Lady didn't even ask me how I wanted it cooked when she called to tell me they were out of turkey burgers. She rushed me off the phone. 2. I asked for the egg on my burger OVER HARD and my onions GRILLED. None of that was fulfilled. The burger had raw onions and a runny egg (which I absolutely hate!) then they just slapped a bunch of mayo on it. 3. There was some plastic object IN BETWEEN my burger. See picture. Luckily, I didn't hurt myself or mess up my teeth. I'm guessing it was the pick to hold the burger together, but why was it in between instead of it sticking straight through the burger like it's supposed to??? This isn't completely Bakers crusts fault, my husband and I had brunch, today at about 10:45 or 11am, we both ordered the eggs Benedict, sat at back table near the door to the event room or what ever they call it, was very disappointed with our waiter, a dark haired older man with dark rimmed glasses, don't know his name because he didn't have a way to print a receipt on his little pad thing, a family came in with 2 very well behaved young boys about 10 to 12 years old wait staff moved the family to a larger table, the one young man noticed that the table they were given did not have a salt shaker so he gently grabbed the salt shaker from previous table and started to walk to the table they were seated at, the waiter aggressively walked over to the table grabbed the shaker out of the boys hand and said in a very mean condescendingly tone and yelled, yes yelled! don't you ever pick up that shaker again I will bring you another one, the young boy looked at him like what did i do that was so bad. My husband spoke to the parents because he didn't know if they actually seen or heard what this waiter said to the boys or seen him aggressively touch the boys hand to remove the salt shaker, it was not appropriate for the waiter to act like this in any way you look at it , the boy didn't do anything wrong. I hope he was happy with his tip, i usually tip more this time of year this time i gave just enough, The waiter was a complete jerk. Do better it's Christmas time and the boy didn't deserve being yelled at for trying to help get a salt shaker for the table he was at, you were a complete jerk, and i can say if i have a meal at Bakers crust again any time soon and you are there again and are the waiter we will ask to be reseated if that isn't possible we will leave. refuse to put up with rude, aggressive people. read more

This location is in a cute area for shopping and dining however it is not as nice as the one in greenbrier. This location is much smaller, way more casual and has less of that personal touch from staff. The greenbrier location felt like fine dining all the way from the ambiance as soon as you enter the door, to the rest rooms, service, plate presentation etc. This location- not so much. It's a nice quick eat place at this location, same pricey options but less than favorable service and atmosphere. Food is good but tastes better when you have exemplary service. read more
