We usually do the deli plate with a selection of different and interesting veggie pates, a really interesting salad (and I mean REALLY interesting) and warm fresh bread. The cakes are fantastic too, I had a lime and courgette cake there once and it was bliss! Good value for money and we don't need any dinner when we have lunch here as the portions are very generous. The only thing that would make me loathe to leave a positive review is the danger of alerting so many people to this wonderful little tucked away gem that I might have to queue for my favourite outdoor table on the shady patio by the honeysuckle and bees!

There is a dining room that overlooks the town, a small family room with childrens play area and a compact courtyard that really traps the sun in summer. All the food is home made and vegetarian, with vegan options too and is changed regularly. There is also a good range of hot drinks available - I'd particularly recommend the hot chocolate!

Halloumi, portobello mushroom in a nice brioche with home cooked Rosemary fries, simply wonderful and for less than 8 pounds. We returned a few days later when we wanted some chips to go with our homecooked steaks - another good decision - yum! They also do donner kebabs and other greasy specials but this isn't really my area as I try to stay away from anything this contains 'mystery meat!'

Nothing special nor disastrous. I've had coffee to go once and a second time I had a cappucino sat at one of their tables at the station (to do some work on my laptop while waiting for a train). Their coffee is okay, nothing amazing, albeit a bit pricey for what you get. On the first occasion my cup felt half empty, on the second occasion the cup was fairly small and got cold very quickly!. I stopped here as I needed a table to use my laptop. Wouldn't miss it... The gentleman that served my coffee was very kind and attentive.

Today I was served by Nikki, who could give lessons in customer service! She was polite, bubbly, friendly and above all knowledgeable! I was directed to some muesli as I wanted something healthier, (Although I also grabbed a ham and cheese flatbread, don't judge me) Nikki told me everything that was in the muesli and it was as good as her description! We were seated upstairs and our server inquired if any one of us had any dietary restrictions and/or allergies. When we ordered our server made sure to inform us which items could possibly have cross contamination and offered alternatives. We ordered a healthy yoghurt bowl (berry compote, granola, coconut, blueberries, bananas, goji berry and honey), sausage and eggs on a brioche bread and hash browns and the English breakfast and all was absolutely delicious. Throughout the entire time we were there, we were asked if we needed anything else or needed more water, unlike some of the other places we have dined in the area.
