They will not release them before 2:45pm but take them to the office at 2:55pm marked late when there is a horrible parking and traffic congestion problem caused by the school. The lady in the office suggested to show up earlier to which I responded that it would make no difference because they wouldn't release the kids until 2:45pm. So to pick up kids you have to show up 30 minutes early to find parking and wait because the kids MUST be picked up in person INSIDE the gate. Every other school I've seen does not do it this way and it causes a big hassle to pick up kids.

Six year, more or less, have passed since my last SD Academy review. Here's an update:…read more -My son is now a Junior at the Academy and thriving. His class has never had more than 25 students. -In May '20, my younger daughter graduated from Oakwood University, a HBCU in Huntsville Alabama (also a part of Adventist Education). -My oldest daughter graduated from Pacific Union College (Adventist Education) after holding numerous leadership positions to include Student Association President. She will enter Columbia University to study Law, this fall. For my wife and me, the challenge has always been to invest in an Education that will empower our children to succeed here and in eternity. Clearly San Diego academy has been the right choice. We believe that God led us and continues to lead and we are thankful.
