The ever famous bocadillos, tiny sandwiches with fresh fillings, are the best around. You can get them filled with hamon Serrano, tortilla Española, and an assortment of other meats and always fresh colorful veggies. They also have empanadas, beer, wine, croissants, and cute Mickey Mouse shaped breads for kids and grown kids. Pro tip, get a couple beers, a few bocadillos, some fresh orange juice, and head down the street to enjoy a picnic at the centuries old Campo de San Francisco and Plazs España.

Por supuesto, también tenía que probar algo ya que estaba allí, así que me decidí por una casadiella o casadielles, típico de Asturias. Estaba muy rico y tenía un buen tamaño (lo compartimos entre dos), pero me pareció súper caro (2.40EUR) en comparación con los precios que había visto en otras confiterías tal vez menos famosas (menos de 2EUR en todas). Además, la señora que atendía distaba bastante de ser amable y servicial, como uno espera si va dispuesto a pagar más. Está guay visitarla y probar algo alguna vez, pero creo que yo elegiría cualquiera otra confitería de las muchas que hay para ir más a menudo.
