Took my son to the pool to have a fun day. He was playing basketball in the water and did a light dunk on the hoop--nothing wild, just a quick splash dunk. Next thing we know, a lifeguard comes over and kicks him out for "unsafe behavior." Really? Kids were jumping, splashing, and even doing flips, but somehow a little dunk was too much? My son was so confused. We left early and won't be going back. If your pool can't handle a harmless dunk, maybe don't put a hoop there. read more
