After a horrible experience with a "Leica Dealer" in Sydney, Leica Australia's CEO had to apologise for the poor service from Sydney and recommended I speak to Jon Patterson and his team at "The Camera House - Lismore" I asked for a Chrome Leica M body and after a couple of emails, a phone call and a bank transfer (I lived too far away to collect and pay in person) I had the camera shipped to me in 2 days. It was a perfect transaction. In short, this is a professional team who offered a Leica shopping experience that was not offered to me at the "best camera store in Sydney." It was a Shame Leica Australia had to apologise in order to keep my business and offered I speak to Mr Patterson as he was considered an excellent source of information and service for their company. It is a little easier in person cuz they can put my face to the situation. But they do have a lot of stuff in the store to buy. Souvenirs, cute gift area for those that have forgotten a gift for a kids birthday party, make up area, it's limited but an ok selection. Since it is the only chemist shop until you get to the bigger towns, they're prices are high. Only get the things you need here because you'll pay for the price. They tend to have sales but you have to look for them!

Well, it was the music that seemed to dominate. However, this place goes beyond music to even serving coffee, which I thought was pretty cool as well. In fact this is the type of place you would expect to find in the inner city of Sydney or Melbourne, except it is out here in Ballina. It really does give the place a bit of a vibe.

Honestly, don't expect all that much from this place, just your typical books that you tend to find at the smaller shops scattered about the place (and in a way still exist as well). Since I had a day to kill while in Lismore I decided to go and check out the regional art gallery…read more Actually, it doesn't take all that much more me to go and check out an art gallery, especially since I have developed an appreciation for art. Well, this place wasn't all that bad, and even had a room with some more traditional pieces (though no Monet's of course). They had a couple of interesting exhibitions here as well, including one on the Dakota Access Pipeline, which was really interesting.
