I actualy come from the area originally and went for the nicest Hotel (or so I thought) in the area. We wanted to have a quiet peaceful rest in the Hotel for the weekend, so specifically asked before booking for a quiet room. Little did we think (despite clearly clarifying before booking) that quiet is a relative term. In summary, rooms are OK, spa is OK , far far far too much noise -Its basically makes its money from weddings, so noise from the DJ until 2:30 AM is just going to be the norm. We were so annoyed, we checked out- No real remorse from the staff and got distinct impression that we were kooks. I guess you should be drunk going to bed and you wont hear the noise. If your going there for a wedding, Im sure its OK. If youre going for a quiet weekend, avoid at all costs. read more
