For the past few months, I've been traveling through Southeast Asia. While the food and experience was amazing coming back to the states I was certainly ready for some food that reminded me of Home for me. That includes some amazing home-cooked Polish food. Baltic deli did not disappoint in the slightest. Everything was so fresh and delicious, the pierogies were perfectly pillowy. The service there is truly amazing as they were out of some of the cheese and potato pierogies when I arrived, but they quickly made a fresh batch to order for me. Outside of the counter service, Baltic deli also has a great market where you can purchase goods to prepare your own meals at home. Baltic Deli is a cute Polish deli selling fresh food, meats, and snacks from Poland. It is like an Eastern European grocery store combined into a deli. After going to the Atlanta Christkindl Market and trying pierogis for the first time and falling in love with them, I wanted to find a spot that actually sold them in store. The lady behind the counter explained all the food available to us so service was very friendly. There are a small number of tables for seating, so the ambiance inside is not loud. We got the Pierogis (Meat & Potato + Cheese) and Cucumber Salad. I loved the potato and cheese pierogis! I got them with caramelized onions and a cucumber salad on the side (there were other salad options), which had a nice dill dressing on it that paired well with pierogis. The pierogis were really soft and chewy, which I think is how they are meant to be made, but I wish the pierogis were a bit less doughy for my taste bud preference. My friend really liked the pierogis with meat, although I am not sure what kind of meat was used. This is a really quaint eatery! I think if you have not tried Polish food, then this is the place to go. I will say it was a bit pricey? Almost $16 for five pierogis (albeit they were large and filling) and a side of salad. The food is delicious. Had the potatoes and cheese pierogies and the spinach pierogies. The meal comes with one side We picked a side of cole slaw and a side of cucumber salad (this salad is very good). We also bought Edam cheese from the deli very very good. If you like sausage they offer a great variety to choose from. They have a small grocery store selling mostly polish products. I also want to mention that the lady behind the counter is very nice. The pierogis are amazing!! I walked into Baltic Deli excited to try whatever they had to offer and I was not disappointed! I had the cheese and potato pierogis with a side of cucumber dill sour cream salad and it was lovely. Reminded me of the foods I used to have as a kid. I also got the beef and pork pierogis for my boyfriend and he loved them!! He can be hard to impress, but he absolutely raved about them. He said there was a good amount of meat and that they were absolutely spot on and delicious. read more

Great rolled cabbage with mashed potatoes (so smooth, buttery). Good chicken schnitzel, I really like the coleslaw on the side as well. Everything is cozy and filling. Wi-Fi is out in my neighbourhood and I ran out of things to do. I've been meaning to go here since they open so I finally had my opportunity. Very very nice staff. Small Baltic grocery in Roswell with a polish restaurant in the back. The food is really fresh and absolutely delicious and the service is very attentive. My friend and I have chicken schnitzel, pierogis, cabbage roll and sausage. Everything was delicious! And very large portions. Enough to take home for another full meal. The store has delicious chocolates and teas, I got a few things to try and bring home and everything has been delicious. I don't like close by but would definitely be back if in the area. read more

Great prepared food. A large selection of packaged food and mixes. Got lunch for two there the other day and between us we got everything but the sausage which we had last time. Enjoyed it all. Loved it. My first visit. I'm from Michigan and think I know Polish food well enough to rate Baltic Deli. The selections were freshly made. The selection of pirogies were potato, spinach/cheese and a meat pirogie of beef and pork. They also have stuffed cabbage, polish sausage and another meat selection. Please try the mushroom croquet. My wife and I LOVED this place! They have a market with European delights in the front and the hot food section in the back. We went for a quick lunch one day and tried the grilled kielbasa, potato and cheese pierogi, and stuffed cabbage. Everything was super fresh and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. I ordered pierogies for our book club. Because I was picking them up earlier in the day, they suggested I pan fry them to warm them up. Excellent suggestion. As a recent transplant of Georgia, I love to try different variety of foods of different cultures. And I've never had Polish food before until I came here to Baltic Deli. It's a small store with different food and drink options from Poland; really quaint upon first glance. But it's far more than that. When you go to the front, they are indeed a deli as they sell different sausages, sandwich meats and cheeses. They even have cold smoked salmon. I was given a sample of the cheese I bought there, delicious! I saw some Polish customers come in and two of them said they have delicious Polish food here. And guess what? THEY'RE RIGHT! So what I really have to tell people who haven't been or tried here yet is the counter where they sell a small menu of hot lunch plates that are no more than $12/$13 dollars. The ladies that work there opened Baltic Deli 7 months ago because they couldn't find a good place for Polish food. So they decided to make their own. They work hard to make dishes fresh like Pierogi, Golabki (stuffed cabbage rolls), Keilbasa and Bigos (hunter's stew). There's more but that's what I got that day. Everything was extraordinary. And I have pics of what the outside looks like if you're looking for it and the food I bought from them. So fellow people of Roswell. You don't have to be Polish to enjoy the food from Baltic Deli. This new Polish spot is primarily a market with a small deli and a limited hot food menu. The decor is very casual , but they've put in some nice touches to make it welcoming. Many of the products have no English on the label, but the staff came out and answered our many questions with patience and a smile, helping us pick out some apricot filled cookies! We stayed for lunch- they make their own pierogies in house- and that was great too! I'm used to pierogies as a side dish, so I was hesitant when the pierogies were the main dish with a side of a carrot cabbage salad- but they were very filling! The cheese and potato ones were dense and delicious, and I highly recommend. This is also a great option to pick up on a night you don't feel like cooking but still want a home-cooked vibe. We have been waiting for this deli to open for a couple weeks now! Paul is so fantastic, warm and welcoming. The entire staff is so so kind. Onto the food; I will be here every week. We had the smoked salmon bagel with salmon that's been smoked in house. To call this the best smoke salmon bagel I've ever had would be an understatement. We also were able to try the pierogis. The meat and cheese and potato cheese were amazing as well!! By far my favorite restaurant in the Roswell area! Come try it for a relaxing lunch out of your norm! read more

Absolutely delicious food! Perfectly seasoned- never had to reach for any seasonings. I came by with my sister and tried the meat and potato & cheese pierogis, golbaki (cabbage rolls), borscht, cabbage slaw & mashed potatoes. Everything was so good, I had to get the same order to go, along with chicken schnitzel for my Polish fiancé. Despite living 20 miles away on the other side of Atlanta (45 minutes each way), I will absolutely be back. I also picked up some pickles and sweets from the deli that are fantastic and shockingly cheap (in general), considering their imports from Poland. read more

Very nice little joint. My wife who has Polish roots and is hard to please was craving some Polish food, so I happen to see this place to give it a try. I walked into the place and was greeted by 2 friendly ladies who happily answered my questions. I brought home the goodies and watched my wife's face light up when sampling them. I went to the Baltic Deli today for very 1st visit after being recommended to the place. I had the rolled cabbage and my son had the Perrogies and the slaw. He is a very picky eater. No seafood, no tomato products, so I didn't know what he would think. Well he was in heaven. He ate everything and wanted another for a take home box. The rolled stuffed cabbage was great. $12 each including a drink. Youcan't eat at McDonald's for $12. The food was great, the staff was nice. it was clean. Just a few tables inside and they have a little market to buy Polish specialty products. They also have a frozen prepared items to take home, and a Deli with all kinds of meats and sausages.
