I needed an appointment rather quickly due to an injury and I got in within a week. The location was a bit of a drive but directly across from emergency at Sinai hospital. Upon entering the parking lot you have to get a ticket and you have to pay for it before you leave the building-negative stars for charging a patient to park so they can get in to see the physician. The building was clean. The doctor office was large and I checked in quickly and they took me back with a 5 minute wait. The PA came in first and reviewed all of my paperwork and I explained what happened. She was very helpful and pleasant and not rushing me or anything. She finished her exam and then went to talk with the surgeon as he was reviewing my MRI The doctor is very friendly and he explained every detail about my options. Always trying to avoid surgery and I have had a surgery from the doctor and he knows my concerns so he answered all of my questions and I have nothing but great things to say about the doctor, staff etc. if you need a spinal surgeon I highly recommend Dr. Zalatimo. I'm a healthcare professional myself and I can say that he is a great doctor/surgeon. I would never recommend anyone unless I was 100% comfortable with him. Definitely 5/5.
