Sometimes it helps to have friends. YELP is becoming famous for allowing REVIEW BULLY'S to push people around. You may notice a 1-star review of Phil's business from, shall we say, a "KAREN". If you log in to YELP, and drill down on this reviewer's profile, you will see she is quite generous in dispensing 1-star reviews. As I understand it, this KAREN had a temper-tantrum when Phil decided to pass on a confusing, faxed, request, from someone out of town.

It got to a point where there was one excuse after another on why nobody would show up or wouldn't show up on time. Finally the job got started but they only did about half of it and said there was another job the next day that had to be done somewhere else but they would come by after lunch. Never saw them after that but eventually got more excuses on why nobody came. I ended up just finishing the job myself.

Absolutely horrible job. I paid 10k to get an ~200 sqft room studded and sheetrocked. They ran…read moreelectrical wiring and NAILED the wire BETWEEN the sheetrock and the studs (twice!) bulging out the sheetrock and causing electrical fire danger. I had to unscrew the sheetrock and get the wire out. They put sheetrock directly over an electrical outlet with no hole in the sheetrock, causing me to spent hours redoing their work! They nailed THROUGH an electrical outlet box to install it. So I have 2 nails with bare metal exposed inside an electrical box where an outlet is supposed to go-that's a major fire hazard! They spent 2 weeks doing a ~1 week job. They used an electrical sander for mudding with no sheets and spread sheetrock dust all over the basement. 2 months later, still digging out from their mess. Absolutely horrible; overcharged, underperformed, multiple instances of fire SAFETY hazard issues, egotistical jerks. Brian is a real piece of work, horrible individual to work with. Threatened to put a lien on the house b/c they didn't want to clean up dust mess they spread all over the basement (over computers, chairs, couches, etc.) and I wouldn't pay them until they did. If I could give a negative review I would.

It's 65 inches in diameter, and weighs 85 pounds... It was a bit of a project but Ross came through with flying colors! He attached better hangers and established three hanging points to distribute the weight so it would hang more securely on my wall. I am very happy with his work and I'm confident that the mirror is hanging safely and securely... Ross is my new go-to guy for any project... He has the skills to tackle most anything!

He said around 1,500, we gave him a 500 deposit and said buy the supplies you need. The wood was to green to stain, so we will wait. We called him out for a repair and asked about the fence. He said it would be 2,500 that stain had gone up. I asked him why didn't you buy the stain with the 500. I bought 480 worth of stuff. Couldn't give me a receipt. I asked what he bought, he said some stain, paintbrushes, plastic, ect. I told him im not paying for your work tools. I told him i wanted everything he bought. So we got, no money, no supplies and we just threw away 500. Now he doesn't answer my call or text. Next is small claims
