Being generous with 2 stars because the food was mostly edible. Except the egg roll that was not. Food was salty and typical Americanized Chinese, not authentic as all. Lots of styrofoam, food packed in it and styrofoam plates with plastic forks if you eat in. Won't give you tap water you have to buy in bottles if you want water. Not a fan, won't be back. I have been eating at Bamboo Wok for almost 7 years now. They just get better and better. My only complaint is that they don't deliver, that and the shrimp toast leaves a little bit to be desired. Everything is made cook to order, and fast. I think it's the best one in the area. Food tastes are always consistent and tasty. This is my go to spot for Chinese take out. Friendly staff. A decent neighborhood Chinese restaurant. They recently redid the interior of the restaurant but it's still pretty hot in there to stay and eat. This location works best for pick up. I've been coming here for years and the food is always good. Calling in your order is efficient and the food is always done quickly. The portions are good size so you'll always have leftovers and instead of sending you home with food in styrofoam containers, it's all packaged in Tupperware style boxes. Their sweet and sour chicken, Orange chicken, sesame chicken and General Tso are my favorites. Prices are the same as any other Chinese place in the area. read more

My favorite Ney York style Chinese food. This place gets busy on the weekend! They give huge portions and the rice is really good. I usually get Mongolian beef or the curry, both very yummy and delicious. Customer service has been fast and they aren't rude like some places. So why the 1 star, the food, the food, the food.... We ordered General Tsao chicken and asked ourselves where is the chicken? If you like bread with sauce on it then order this dish. The same goes for their Szechuan beef dish, lots of onions and bell peppers and few portions of beef. When you found the beef it wasn't worth it as it had no flavor. Why bother writing about the rest, why not? Food on floors, dirty tables, unkept bathrooms and the food, the food and the food..... I'm still puzzled as to why the 4 star rating by others. For what this place is, it is excellent. Is it gourmet Chinese food? No; but the service is good, the food comes out quick and hot and the meat is of good quality. The people who work there are wonderful and I have had a pleasant experience every time I've been (which is many times). I've been in FL for 3 years and their food is the closest in flavor to what I'm used to from Chicago Chinese Restaurants. My family likes it so much, it's our regular place now. I recommend the Egg Foo Young and the Pepper Steak or Mongolian Beef. Sorry, I don't recommend the bourbon chicken though, it always seems old and tough. I won't be getting it again. It has been hit or miss for the past two years. Stale food, old pork ribs, rubbery chicken and soapy tasting fried rice!

If you aren't starving and can make it to Shanghai Chinese on 192 you'd be much better off. Word to the wise, the crispy noodles aren't worth the 30cents. They were stale and clearly store purchased.
