Thai Girder isn't a large restaurant - I doubt that more than 40 people could be comfortably seated inside - providing an intimate and cosy atmosphere. With sombre, modern décor and slightly dimmed lighting a relaxed mood is achieved and even with the occasional take-away customer breezing through there maintains a smooth, flowing consistency from the waiting staff who, though mostly young (I'm guessing), were polite, friendly and most importantly assuringly competent and in control. The menu is extensive enough to meet a large variety of tastes and preferences and should you wish to change a dish around a little (swapping a meat for tofu as an example) then this is easily possible as we discovered. The prices aren't too pricey either and the meals are plentiful in themselves.
